This is a great little video monitor. I needed something to make shooting videos a bit more comfortable and feasible in bright light since trying to tilt and shade my camera's LCD screen was getting annoying. After reading up about a few different monitors I went with this one because of its versatility and price. It comes with a carry case that keeps everything (including cables!) tucked away and safe. The battery clips in on the back and can come off too for storage. It also takes outside power which I didn't try. There are a LOT of settings and features to this thing. I used it for basic recording and I'm sure I'll be learning about it all for a long time. Def worth the buy!

For the most part works well, interface problem and timing issues when hand held, shutter delay? not sur why. I haven't figured this out yet. Screen is easy to see and bright enough.

It has small latency and it's hard to get information about any firmware update. Vitrox oficial web is a mess. Good monitor though, great image, great tools

The video display is smooth and clear, the interface is in English. In addition, the sun visor provides necessary protection on bright shooting days. Furthermore, the inclusion of a hard carrying case in the package adds convenience and ensures safe transport and storage of the monitor and its accessories.

I returned the item and did not even open the package as I later found a device that better suited my needs (the SeeMo so you can convert an iphone into a field monitor). However, the Viltrox had a great price as I bought it on primeday and was reduced. After thinking about my purchase (I compared many monitors and this one stood out), I wanted also something that could record. I am sure the Viltrox will be great for many others.

The media could not be loaded. How to change the language of the Viltrox DC-550 Pro Monitor to English from Chinese. Hope this helps someone who is struggling with how to switch the language to English. The unit does not come with a manual, and the one I got defaults to the Chinese language with no prompt to select English when you start it up for the first time. They say you can download one from their site which has instructions but they're hard to find too!

Great little monitor for a beginner, didn’t come with a micro hdmi cable that most cameras would need so had to buy the correct hdmi cable also the monitor mount is crap only had one position on it

En general el monitor es muy bueno, tiene buen tamaño, tiene bien brillo y no pesa tanto.El único detalle que hasta ahora es que no te puedes basar de la exposición que te da el monitor con lo que en realidad la cámara está captando.En el monitor todo parece estar bien y hasta que ves el archivo ya en la computadora está subexpuesto. De ahí en fuera en buen monitor.

Me gustó bastante, si bien el material de construcción es plástico, creo que vale la pena por el precio.
