This is a classy key fob cover. It's also an assembly kit.There is a two piece metal shell and two soft leather-like inserts. The metal halves snap together around your fob and you insert two screws to secure everything. It comes with a cute double ended screwdriver. The screws they use are tiny, about the size of a flea, but they do include two extra ones if one or two go flying. I magnetized my screwdriver first, so I didn't lose any.I like the appearance of the cover and the fact that it protects my fob from scratches and dirt. The cover does not seem to reduce the transmission power of the fob.The only caveat is that this cover completely encloses the fob, so you can't pull out the valet key if you need it but It's not an issue for me. It also prevents the key from fitting in the programming slot in my F-150 console. If that becomes an issue I'll just remove the cover.

Bought this for my new key fobs to keep them protected. After I put it on, I couldn’t push my unlock button and make it work. It was so snug it was pushing the buttons. It also made the other functions not work right. The screws for this are also EXTREMELY small. Make sure you can see well because it’s crazy hard to get the screws in.

i would have given 5 but the signal distance was shortened. otherwise im happy with the purchase.
