Chichidog Ladies Soft & Cosy Hooded Dressing Gown Full Length

I am 5' 7", and having read the reviews from ladies of a similar height saying theirs touched the floor (which was my main reason for ordering this one), I was a little disappointed to find mine about 2 inches above the floor.I'm a size 14-16 so was hoping the XXL would be just right. That said, it is really lovely to wear and very comfy. I ordered navy, it is not quite as dark as the picture, but the actual colour is gorgeous. I'm only dropping a star as there seems to be some inconsistency with the sizing.

I have been looking for a dressing gown that was long enough for a long time. I ordered XL and had to take it up 3 inches. Should probably have ordered smaller. Lovely soft and cuddly material. Haven’t washed yet but so far really pleased.

I looove this dressing gown! I bought it for when the dog gets me up in the middle of the night to chase cats or squirrels in the garden and I have to wait for her to come in. The heating is off in the night. I washed it in the 15min wash 1200rpm spin as soon as I got it; hung it on the clothes horse and it was dry in a few hours. I used a fabric softener in any case, but there doesn't seem to be a problem with static. It's a lovely fluffy velvety thing that doesn't seem to shed anywhere (unlike the dog). I'm about 5ft 9ins these days and bought the red in XL. It just touches the floor. I am fairly slim and there's plenty of wrap around, but if I were a tad chubbier, then it might not wrap around so well. It's a lovely rich and regal dark red colour. There's an inner ribbon tie so it doesn't slip down or bunch up when tied with the main tie (which is of a fairly generous length). The hood is voluminous. I just love this and think it will last a long time. Just got to make sure the dog doesn't nab it for her bed..Edit: Forgot to mention that the sleeves are just the right length, there are two generous pockets in the front at waist level and the lovely velvety finish is the same on the inside and the outside. It all seems to be well stitched together. I couldn't have asked for better. Hope it helps!

Got the lilac one which is quite pink, not a problem as I prefer that. It is VERY long. I am 5’8” (1m72) tall, and not thin! I got the XL size and it sweeps the floor, so when sitting down it keeps you warm all the way to the feet, very nice. The material is not particularly thick, except the double layer hood, yet the gown is very cosy. I am really pleased so far.What I am NOT pleased about is the delivery (parcel just thrown on the doorstep) but I have raised a complaint about that elsewhere.

I couldn’t find an ankle length dressing gown in the shops so my research and reviews lead me to this. It is a beautiful quality dressing gown. Thick and sumptuous. From the reviews I expected it to be floor length but it sits 2 inches above my ankle bone which slightly disappointed me but literally I couldn’t get anywhere near this length on the high street so I’m still glad I ordered this. Sizing wise I am a 12-14 and the large is able to double over my front. I think I could’ve got away with the medium but I wanted a big snuggly one.

Gorgeous, cosy, arrived on time in perfect condition. Definitely cut down on my need for space heaters! It's so long it almost touches the floor (I'm on the short end of average height for a 30yo woman) so it just covers every inch of me in velvety warmth. Blessing after a shower on these cold Winter mornings!
