Excellent skin tone markers!
I love the SFAIH Dual-Tipoed Skin Tone Alcohol Marker Set (25 count) so much that I purchased a second box! Beautiful shades from the palest pink to a beautiful mahogany brown. Markers are juicy and dry fairly quickly. Blending is easy. I am not a professional artist so these are great for beginners too. I love that each marker has the name on the cap. I use the brush tip for smaller areas and the chisel tip for larger spaces. Bleed through is not too significant but you should use a page protector. The set comes with a page protector, but it is too small, unfortunately. I use a book report cover to protect the coloring book pages. I highly recommend SFAIH’s Dual-Tipoed Skin Tone Alcohol Marker Set 25 count for beginners to professionals, for price, quality, and color variety.

BEST OPTION IF YOU CAN'T GET OR DON'T WANT TO PAY FOR OHUHU ALCOHOL MARKERS
A few months back, I got into coloring books thanks to TikTok. Like pretty much everyone else, I had my heart set on the OHUHU alcohol markers, but they were always backordered and took forever to restock. So, I decided to explore some alternatives and went for the SFAIH markers instead. Honestly, they’re pretty good —great quality, no strong smell, a solid shade range, smooth blending, and they don’t dry out quickly. They even have a 48-piece pastel set, which is awesome because I loved pastel colors. That said, they do bleed through the paper, so you’ll need thicker sheets or something underneath to protect your workspace. While the OHUHU markers remain my top choice, the SFAIH markers are definitely a great alternative if you’re looking for something affordable and readily available.

Quality Markers
Our family has used these markers many times over and have a great ink flow, marker quality, great look and a smoothness to their finish. Highly recommend it for avid artists and newbies alike.

Lovely markers, way darker than the caps would make you think.
Tis a long one... I got new markers! The markers are Sfaih. This image is from the coloring book "Bearclaw's Realms of Fantasy, Vol 1" (via Amazon!), and it was a good learning experience. When I asked my husband what color I should make the giant and he said "orange" I was like... "uhhh... oooookkkkaaaaayyyyy.... night scene with orange?" But it turned out OK.On to the Sfaih marker review! The good: They come in a decent quality zipper case. The bad: The case lid doesn't stay open, which is annoying. This could be rectified by putting the seam on the side front and extending the zipper around to the back on each side, but they've gone with a 3-piece box cut vs. a 4-piece box cut... admittedly easier to assemble and highly efficient in terms of fabric, which keeps the price down... but at the cost of that one functional element. It's totally not a deal breaker.TG: The colors are labelled on each cap with their call code and name.I can (and did) learn my way around the bad eventually.TB: The colors on the caps are not anywhere close to the colors the markers produce. I got this set because it looked like pastels and yellows, which I really needed, and there are some yellow-green and yellow-brown, but no genuine yellows (the yellow here IS from this marker set, it looks much more yellow next to the blue, it's really a yellow-green on its own). The pinks are distinctly red-leaning, the orange is actually red, and the red is closer to purple. There are zero light blues (the monk character at the bottom was not supposed to be dipped in deepest indigo). The greens are a dizzying array of almost-the-same and wildly different... hard to explain, but this is a case of looking at the names all the time. All of the colors are delightful, just not what I was looking for when I bought this set. (see the second photo for the color families in no particular order).TG: Caps are secure.TB: Caps need a Lego pry bar to get off without popping the cartridge open & ending up with a soggy marker felt in your lap, or not being able to open it at all and just staring at the color you want to access in frustration. The plastic is also soft enough that prying causes damage to the caps.TG: Cartridges have a lot of juice in them.TB: Cartridges landing in my lap while trying to pry the cap off. I swore in creative ways. (Update: the stain came out fine).TG: fine tips are delightfully paintbrush like. Wedge tips leave a nice crisp line without the weird streaky bits that can happen in lower quality markers. GREAT edges. No bad here. Only good.TG: My sniffer is unreliable depending on how far out I am from my medication, but when I was able to smell them they don't smell bad, and I didn't get dizzy like I have with some markers. No bad.TG: They layer well.No bad.Unknown at first:- no idea how long they will last. (Update: mostly through the coloring book. A few started to fade a bit towards the end. Since I have no idea how long most markers last outside of Crayola which are either DOA or immortal, I really don't have a frame of reference for this).- have not tried the blender yet. No update.- no idea if the stain will wash off my clothes... I assume I can get it out with alcohol. (Update: did not need alcohol, came out fine in the wash).Further thoughts:The bleed factor is small, but plan on some when the markers are new.Kiss whatever is behind the page goodbye or use a waxed paper sheet to block it, these are going through! (Bearclaw's coloring book is printed on one side, so no losses there, but DO NOT forget the waxed paper block). The ink flow is *chef's kiss* until it's not.The ONLY reason this is not an enthusiastic 5 is the tendency of the caps to stick on the brush tip side & the cartridge to pop out, which causes frustration in an otherwise delightfully fun experience.

Great quality for an excellent price!
After a lot of research, I decided to try the Sfaih alcohol-based markers. I know Ohuhu is a top brand, but since I'm just starting my coloring hobby, I wanted something high-quality, with a balanced color selection for smooth blending and gradients, without spending a fortune right away.At first, I was impressed—the markers are well-made, and the brush glides smoothly, making the experience comfortable and not tiring for the hand. However, after using them more, I realized that the color selection isn't as versatile as I expected.I miss more light and muted shades, such as pastels, a brighter yellow, a burnt pink, and a baby pink. There are plenty of greens, which I appreciate, but I wish they had a better gradient between shades to create smoother blends. The set also lacks a good variety of skin tones, making it harder to create diverse portraits. Also, keep in mind that colors may look different depending on the paper you use—which is normal for alcohol markers. I highly recommend making a color chart on the same paper you plan to color on to get the most accurate results.I considered other brands with more colors for the same price, but I’ve learned that quantity isn't everything—having too many similar shades can be overwhelming. That said, if you're considering this set, I’d recommend checking the color palette carefully to decide if you prefer pastel or vibrant tones.Lastly, it’s not worth buying extra colors separately, as the cost quickly adds up. At that point, it’s better to invest in an Ohuhu set, which comes with a much more complete color selection.🔹 Pros: Good quality, smooth brush, great for practice.🔸 Cons: Could have better gradients between shades, lacks skin tones, harder to achieve seamless blends, not worth expanding separately.
