You get what you pay for but this one is good value
Arrived a day earlier than expected. I am not an axe expert but this one seems sturdy. The handle is comfortable and the head and blade appears sturdy. Ive used it a couple of times to cut some hard wood, quite hard work but thats my lack of expertise rather than the axe. For what I paid for this product im very pleased. Good addition to toolshed.

This is a proper splitting axe and goes though huge cuts effortlessly with hardly any rebound, would recommend to anyone that wants an axe for home use

Purchased this not expecting a great deal due to the cheap price. Today I collected a car load of fresh cut logs and set to work splitting it for next winter.The axe chewed through all the wood with no problems at all. The odd log that didn't split on first strike went on the second as the weight of the head helped it drive throughBrilliant purchase

Good value
Effective log splitter at a good price. Rubber sleeve at junction of handle/head split but does not affect function or structural integrity of axe. Much more effective than the hatchet I used previously

What a great tool to have I was a bit dubiouse about this but it has surpassed my expectations it splits hardwood logs with ease I am very happy with it the grip is good weight seems just right for me.
