Check compatibility with anchor!
The media could not be loaded. Bought this but couldn't put it on my umbrella due to the anchor not being removable. If you have a higher end umbrella it might have screws to remove so you can pull off the anchor and install this. I will now be pairing this with the high wind solbello. This should work beautifully to add that extra bit of support and weight to keep it from pulling out of sand on extreme wind days. Will upload video of beach. In the meantime enjoy how well it pairs with the solbello. It might work well with cheap skinny no anchor umbrellas too. I just couldn't find any sold anymore with no nondetachable anchor for under $70 so check your anchor. It will fit the pole but you've got to get it over any anchor!

Umbrella Flights Cancelled!
This is no toy. It's an affordable invention that keeps your beach umbrella from unwanted lift-offs and possible impalements of an unlucky beach-goer, maybe even lawsuits resulting from simple injuries as it pinwheels down the beach. It's easy-to-use and effective. Splendid product. A clever white plastic gadget with a thumbscrew slips over the pole. Fill the yellow pockets with sand, hook them on; the weight holds them down. Now you are safe from one type of lawsuit. Easy to assemble. Now the inventor needs to invent clever weights to keep the kids' cheesy, cheap beach umbrellas from blowing inside out in gusts. We fastened our Velcro-strapped sandals around the edges this year. They looked ridiculous but kept the umbrella in the shade position. I noticed that others copied our make-it-work solution, so if you start seeing sandals on beach umbrellas, it started with me at Myrtle Beach. Next year: Fishing weights. (You're welcome.)I repeat, this is NOT A TOY. It should be sold in SPORTS & OUTDOORS.

Works with some wind
Set up was easy and it stayed put with some decent winds at the beach. When a storm rolled in and the wind gusts picked up it wasn’t strong enough to stay in place, but no ones umbrella was staying in the sand. Make sure you dig a hole for your umbrella post, of course the deeper the better for when the wind blows.

Not as easy as you think...but can work with a little effort.
The good news...they work. The bad news...it’s not so easy to get them positioned right that they do actually work. It looks really easy to fill them with sand and just get on with your beach day but that’s not exactly how they work on windy East Coast beaches. You’ll still need to plant your pole deep in the sand...which is why you bought this in the first place right. Then after that, you can attach the bags and they’ll hold your umbrellas. Half our day was over before we figured this out.

Poorly executed design
The concept is good but had poor execution. The hooks were fused to the cylinder, making it impossible to firmly attach all three bags, only one worked as it should. The other two kept coming off because the fabric couldnt pass the hook.

LOVE LOVE LOVE
Perfect for the beach. I took a solo trip and this was so much easier to use than the anchor that screws into the sand. I was there by myself for the whole weekend so it was nice to have something on the easier side since I was juggling all my own stuff.

Will not fit on some umbrellas
I ended up giving this to my mother to put on her umbrella for the beach. The umbrella I had already had a screw in bottom that the pockets did not fit on. I'm giving this 5 stars because I was with some friends in Fort Walton Beach who had an umbrella that it worked wonderful on so I know they're excellent, just didn't fit my umbrella.
