Hypnotic Gems Materials: 1 lb Deep Purple Banded Amethyst Stones from India - Rough Crystals for Cabbing, Tumbling, Lapidary, Crystal Healing #B: 1 Pound Lot

I am a repeat customer of this brand and that is why I ordered from here. To my utter disappointment, my amethysts came already polished when the description and photos describe and show rough amethysts. I do tumbling and even though these are quite nice, I cannot to anything with them. This really bums me out as I also bought them with my birthday money. So double the disappointment.Even the polishing on these look rough.I was looking forward to this batch since my last order of rough Lapis Lazuli.

These rough stones are nicely banded and colored.I was disappointed in the size of the stones though. The product states most pieces should be between 3/4 and 1" in size. I feel like the majority of my pieces are crumbles from the bottom of the barrel (there is a dime in my photos for size reference). I was hoping to be able to tumble these stones, but many of these are so small I don't think I will be able to do that.The size of this material is really only suited for wire wrapping. Any sort of grinding or tumbling would reduce these small stones to powder.

These gems were of dark banded purple and gold. Nice beautiful pieces as they were nice size and showed excellent color.

Beautiful stones but only two of decent size, the rest small 1/4 to 1/2 inch. Was hoping for larger stones.
