Surprisingly great everyday backback
I purchased this backpack to bike to yoga from work, but then covid hit and i stopped going to work and yoga. But this backpack has replaced a 30 L gregory pack and large fjallraven backpack because it holds so much more while being less bulky. I even flatten it and pack it in my suitcase when i fly. The open pocket holds a ton, but also flattens down. There are small zip pockets for small sundries. It’s great having all this extra space when I go places with my kids. I use the yoga mat slot for all sorts of things, from kites to jackets. The grey is nice looking, too. My only complaints are that the mesh side pockets are starting to rip, as many do. And it does not have a belt for hiking.

Motorcycle rider
I ride a motorcycle everyday that the weather permits. I have been looking for something that allows me to carry my yoga mat, blocks, and clothes. I have been worried about losing or destroying my mat. This worked perfectly at speeds over 60 mph. It was comfortable and the included straps worked well. I was also able to secure my water bottle.

Almost exactly what I need
I love the colors. I’m not sure it’s exactly what I need. It does carry a lot in the backpack but only if your mat isn’t strapped in. With my extra long, Manduka Pro..I can carry my laptop and maybe one book and my wallet. When I need to see private yoga clients for therapy, I still need a 2nd bag to carry blocks, straps, etc. If I’m just teaching a class and don’t need much, it’s great. Carries my mat, planner, wallet and water. The pocket for the mat is adjustable but there’s a stupid elastic strap that is useless. It’s super hard to get a mat in and almost impossible to get out. It’s not necessary though bc there’s a better (adjustable) strap with connectors at the top. Way better. The outside is nice and feels durable but the inside has a thin, nylon lining. It feels flimsy. Time will tell how well it holds up to me cramming books in and out of the backpack. This is a better design for proper body mechanics than the ones where the mat is carried horizontally.

Strap Securing Mat Should Be Higher
The pluses are that it is very well made with sturdy material, nice looking, and spacious. I love the outside zipper pocket and side holders for water bottles. The negative is that my standard 24 inch wide yoga mat flops around and makes the pack unsteady especially when bending over. The strap securing the mat should have been placed higher. To solve this flopping problem, I purchased webbing and a buckle. I looped the web around the handle located on top of the pack, buckling it around the upper mat. Of note is that this backpack is not available on the Aurorae website. I guess it is made specially for Amazon.

Very durable and great design. Nice and roomy to fit a lot of things in.
Fits everything I use in it securely and is comfortable on the shoulders.

no room for other things if you put mat in first
will continue looking for a better mat holder.this one can1) only hold a smaller yoga mat, the bigger it is, the less room you have in your backpack1.5) can only hold a LIGHT yoga mat, the heavier it is, the more it creates a V pulling away from your back while walking2) an annoying design is that you have to load the back pack first, not the large yoga mat, or else you'll have a hard time (impossible) loading all your other gear in the backpack3) the reason i chose a backpack was for the ergonomics, but the design of this is flimsy because the mat isn't held that closely to your body so it causes inefficient odd mat swinging behind you, even when strapped in tightly (but as least it doesn't take up standing space in a crowded city- even if the backpack holds your mat oddly far away from you when the backpack is full)inefficient mat holder.

5 star yoga bag!
I love this bag! It's so much better for my back compared to a shoulder sling. My manduka pro lite fits perfectly in the front pocket. There is 1 stretchy band to secure the bottom of the mat and a top buckle. There is a front zipper pocket, the large main compartment and a hidden zipper pocket inside the large compartment. Side buckles allow you to pull the bag right. There are also 2 mesh side pockets that fit my 32oz hydro flask water bottle. The shoulder straps are comfortable.I'm so happy with this bag! I highly recommend if you carry your mat around a lot.

Very good.
Very good quality bag. Shoulder pads are very comfy. Plenty of a space in the bag. Not too big either when on the back. Holds the yoga mat really well. Also looks very good too. Defo worth the money. Also arrived very quickly.
