Coax cable with cell phone booster kit, 50 feet for outdoor, 16 feet for indoor. The maximum distance from the antenna receiver to the coaxial axis of the booster is 100 feet, preferably no more. The maximum distance from the receiver to the repeater antenna (indoor antenna) is also 100 feet.

No you have to point it at the closest tower. You would need the ability to point it in any direction.

Q: Will this system work if all components are mounted inside the attic of our 2500sq ft home (we live in the SE US)?

Will work. The following installation requirements need to be followed. 1. Your attic needs to be able to receive 2-3 grid signals 2. The outdoor antenna and the indoor antenna need to be separated by a wall. 3. The vertical distance between the outdoor antenna and the indoor antenna needs to be greater than 15 feet or the horizontal distance is 25 feet

I have on average one bar signal where I’m at. I verified compatibility before purchasing. Unfortunately no signal boost after installing. Pretty disappointing.
