I work in theatre and this is perfect for me, I tend to work in 1:25, 1:50 and 1:100. I have not had a black one with white writing before and I really found it easy to read when it was on a large white ground plan. It is sturdy, being made of metal and comes with a case to prevent it getting damaged.
