i have a large cat at approximately 18 lbs so i put both scratch pads together which he loves to lay on and scratch at the same time. Works well!

The only dislike is common to all of these types of items, when they are used by the cats there's a lot of debris and in this case there is no border box that the cardboard sits in. Other than this which is common to all of these types of products, it is a great item for the price and even if they were more expensive it would still be an excellent deal

This is my adult cat's favorite scratcher, even over his sisal ones. I use these replacement inserts with an inclined "scratcher play ramp." The cardboard pieces that he rips off leave a mess on the floor next to it, but it's easily swept or vacuumed up.This insert is reversable, so it's twice as long-lived. I flip it top to bottom after about a week to get a little extra time out of each side. I'd say that between both sides of an insert, it lasts about a month, and since there is 2 per pack, that's at least 2 months between orders. It comes with a packet of catnip too, but that isn't a very good quality - it smells more like cooking herbs than catnip.Overall, I highly recommend. Due to having at least one scratching option in every room, my cat has never tried to scratch my furniture in all of his 10 years.

But in time his activities destroyed the scratch box (as it should) and so to Amazon I went.Found this product and ordered it right away. And it arrived in two days. Good move all around.TIP: Sprinkle some cat nip on the cardboard to get your cat to enjoy the location. Don't be surprised if your cat then sleeps on the scratch pad for then couple of days. They seem to last about two months and they fit the standard cardboard holders.

These fit into our Kong scratcher boxes after I trimmed for width. (20 seconds maybe with a box cutter.)They're a tad thick and a skosh short but those aren't really problems. Our cats have been using them with no troubles.

I have a Kong incline scratcher (original model) that one of my cats loves to use frequently. I was happy to find refills online. This is 9.5"w and fits the Kong like the original insert. It seems to wear as well, too.My cat tends to focus on one spot so she digs holes at one end. I just rotate it when it wears down, then flip it when that is worn. It does leave shredded cardboard on the floor but I don't think that can be helped.

Bought as refills for two boxes and cats love. Good quality.

Our cat is a "horizontal scratcher." We had some vertical scratching posts but noticed that she kept trying to dig her nails into the door mats and rugs. So we got these and they were an instant success. Our cat scratches them a lot and even sits on top of them. She's happy, so we're happy! After a couple months of scratching, these start falling apart and small bits of paper get everywhere, but it's not a big deal to us.
