Delicious - as good as the normal stuff!
As a diabetic I'm always on the look out for sugar-free alternatives to the sweet treats I crave, and to be honest the results are a bit mixed - sometimes they are great, sometime awful but thankfully this definitely falls into the former category! If I had been given these and not told they were sugar free I genuinely would not have been able to tell - the taste is almost imperceivably different to usual but not in a way that suggests it's made without sugar. Likewise the smell and texture are as you would expect. The bag isn't huge (and it didn't take me long to demolish it!) but decent value at just under ÂŁ1.50 when I ordered - there's a price premium on sugar free sweets as I sure most people are only too aware, so I was really happy with these.A great alternative to sugary liquorice that tastes just like the real thing.

Lovely, just as good as sugary ones
These definitely taste just as nice as the sugared ones you buy. Reminds me of the consistency of the liquorice toffees that I love, but can no longer have, ie chewy and soft. If I have one criticism, it's I wish you got more in a bag, or they were a bit cheaper. Otherwise, 10/10. PS: usually, if you eat lots of sugar-free sweets in one day, it causes lots of trips to the loo! I'm guessing because they are made with Stevia and not chemical sweeteners, these were fine. So another bonus! đ

Enjoyably strong aniseed flavourâŚ
This is surprisingly good liquorice, especially considering itâs sugar free. Itâs glossy-looking, sticky with a pronounced aniseed-type flavour that lingers pleasantly for ages in the mouth. Itâs definitely more aniseed than authentic liquorice but I do think theyâre similar and I quite like it nonetheless. The sweets do however contain maltitol as their top ingredient, despite proudly announcing on the front of that bag that theyâve been sweetened with stevia (the last ingredient). Maltitol has to be one of my least favourite of all the artificial sweeteners because of the digestive upset it inevitably leads to but I can tolerate a piece or two of this liquorice - and thatâs all I need - without any trouble so I guess I can just about live with the maltitol content. So, overall pretty good. You might not like the stickiness if youâre expecting liquorice thatâs more matte in appearance, drier or crumbly as this brand is none of those things. They are strongly flavoured sweets though (hence feeling easily satisfied with the occasional piece) and quite enjoyable; I recommend giving them a try if youâre looking for a sugar free substitute for standard liquorice particularly if you enjoy the taste of aniseed.O t h e r i n f o :Dietary: looks to be dairy free and suitable for vegetarians. Contains wheat.Country of origin: Finland.Expiry date: 18 months on the bag I received.

Not Licorice at all.
For the flavour: I should have believed the other reviews that says about it tasting like star anise and very far from the taste of licorice because they are right.Value for money: Well, I don't like the smell and taste of blackcurrant and star anise. Although, I like star anise but I only like star anise spices when cooked with other kinds of dishes and not too much of it because too much of it really makes you feel sick. Just the smell of it when I opened the pack makes me feel sick and lose my appetite. This is going to the bin, so it is a waste of money. For the thickness: it may be thick but it is too small. Anyways, I don't even mind because it will go to the bin anyways.I was excited because I thought I can finally taste licorice again but this disappointed me big time.

Naff
This is the worst liquorice I've ever had. Hardly any liquorice taste, just a hint of aniseed and naff all else. Very expensive and you have to buy a minimum of 4 packs which are half empty. Feel very ripped off.

Not impressed tastes of aniseed and not liquorice
Wasnât very impressed no liquorice taste just aniseed and after eating 4 pieces I had the most horrendous stomach pain that lasted all night, not sure it was this but it was a big coincidence if not , wonât dare risk it again so itâs in the bin

Cannot recommend highly enough
This liquorice is delicious, unfortunately, I have only found, so far, one retailer in Holt, Norfolk, who sells it. Too far for me to go just to buy a few packets! The selling point is that the sweetener used is Stevia, plant derived, but is very low on calories. Why more products don't use it I have no idea. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Sweet but healthy
This product is amazing fantastic taste but most amazing i need to look after my sugar intake so this product has the plant base stevia which does not have carbs or sugar but has great taste with natural sweet plant stevia so if you have sugar issues then this liquorice is for you .
