Got here fast and in good condition

This is an excellent resource for any reading teacher. Although I was already familiar with some methods and activities included in this book, there is a lot of new and current information. I have gone back and re-read sections many times since completing the course that required this textbook. There are extensive lists of resources, websites, assessments, and great ideas that I am using with my students who have dyslexia. I am a private tutor, and I highly recommend this book as a reference you will use again and again.

Excellent read! I was out of teaching field for a number of years and I wanted to reinstate license. I had to take Praxis Teaching Elem Reading and this was a great resource for passing test! It doesn’t contain all the info you need but a vast majority of what you need to know is in this book.

I have read many, many books to help with my teaching reading career but this one is by far the best. I have many of Timothy Rasinski's books so am naturally drawn to his wonderful expertise. I have so many sticky notes, dog-earred pages, etc. in this book I know it will be one I revisit and revisit. His research is spot on and I highly recommend his works but especially this book for up to date know-how on teaching reading.

The book is great and with the Instructor and the book, I have learned so much in my class. The book was a bit bent on the outside from someone turning the pages but it is a book that I will probably keep to go to for references when needed. Thank you. Judi

An excellent book that shows how effective teaching of phonics and decoding skills leads to fluent readers. Fluency should not be a skill taught in isolation, but instead, the result of solid explicit instruction in phonics and decoding as well as vocabulary and comprehension.

I am using this book as a book study with my staff. It is excellent at covering the areas of phonics and teaching fluency.

I need to return this book as I do not need it for class anymore.
