...and I purchased a bunch of them for "little" add-ons to Christmas gifts. Turns out, they were a lot bigger than I had originally thought which was pleasantly surprising to me.Also, the people that recieved these gift add-ons liked them better than the larger gifts which either meant my taste in gifts sucks or these candle holders were a pretty good idea. Im gonna go with the latter because it hurts my feelings less.....The packaging was sealed and secure, however I opened each one to ensure that they weren't broken because who wants to unbox a broken gift (but if I was aware then that they all were going to like the candle holders better though, I would have left it up to fate whether or not these babies were broken).As stupid as this sounds, I rubbed my eyes after putting one of them back into their box. My eyes burned like crazy. Definitely made of salt. Not fake.All in all, these are fantastic candle holders and everyone was very happy to recieve them. I kept one for myself too.If you're gifting them, be sure not to buy anything else bigger to pair with them and if you do, make sure its cheaper and of lower quality than the candle holders. The recievers will more than likely rave about these and hurt your feelings 🤣

I had purchased a set of four previously and was very happy. I want to head and ordered a second set and sadly these were in very poor condition. When I reached out to the company to let them know I was educated on the composition of the salt and told that these were normal. I will be returning them as you can see in the photos they are certainly not what is pictured. These were crumbling and leaving salt everywhere. These will be returned.

The cylindrical shape is quite lovely. It is my second WBM Himalayan Crystal Tealight Candle Holder. I love the orange color of the Himalayan Crystal. My first one was a  WBM Himalayan Natural Crystal Salt 2 Tealights Candle Holder , and I LOVE that one.The only complaint I have with this cylindrical shape is that it's a deeper cut because the holder is taller. I was hoping maybe they drilled it down to just halfway but no. It does create a problem when I'm sliding the tealight into and out of this holder because it can get stuck. But that's not a big deal, I just have to be more careful when I'm using it.================The carved ball is my third WBM Himalayan Crystal Tealight Candle Holder. The carved ball shape just doesn't hold the tealight candle as well. Also, IMHO the holder looks great in the product picture but it's just not the same in person.Lastly, the first time Amazon shipped me this item it was a white candle holder, I sent it back because I like the orange tinge of the traditional Himalayan Crystal. Amazon shipped me a replacement and it was a gorgeous orange one just like the product picture but unfortunately it cracked in the shipment. So I shipped it back and decided to not to have another replacement because compared to my other 2 this one just doesn't look as nice.

When I bought this, I saw it glowing pretty, So I wanted it for accent lighting and for the beauty of it. Little did I know, I was given a hunk of Himalayan sea salt, Nearly cube shaped, With a hole in it for a votive candle. I don't have votives, So I tried using a stick candle. It made the salt really hot, And is only really meant for a votive. It's not as pretty as the pictures, But it is what I wanted, Even if not as pretty as I would have liked.

Not broken! Not white! Must be lucky.It came in one piece. If you are looking to buy this, please know you must use a real candle in humid environments. (I do not recommend you put it in your bathroom!)I have not used it yet, however you should know you must put it on a plate, coaster or saucer as the salt will melt onto the surface it is placed on. Otherwise the salt may harm your furniture!If you need to store yours for any given amount of time, I recommend placing it in an air tight container and a moisture absorber.

I have not tried using a tea light in these. The drilled opening seems small. However, I have not planned to use a candle in these. I want to put one or more in my infrared sauna. I am thinking the heat from the sauna will be warm enough to activate the salt benefits. Maybe it will freshen the air in my sauna. I am also considering adding a drop or two of essential oil to the candle well to see if that will enhance the ambiance of my sauna.

With all the debate about whether or not the negative ion output from these candles/lamps is enough to do any good, you still cannot go wrong with this little candle holder. Having it lit makes for a serene and pretty room, especially in the evenings. And just a few more negative ions certainly can't hurt! I light mine every afternoon when my husband is due home to set a relaxing atmosphere for dinner. On grey and rainy days, it gives the room a lovely, warm glow, chasing away that dreary feeling. If you want the best results possible, stick with non paraffin tea lights. Good Lights seem to last longest, but the bees wax ones are quite nice, too.I avoid scorching the insides while lighting my tea light by lighting it first and dropping it in as gently as I can. I have only had the flame go out once in many times of doing this. Pay attention to the advice to snip wicks to a quarter inch for best results.

A cousin of mine was telling me about how he has one of these salt lamps in his room and that it apparently releases salt in the air when it's lit and the heat from the bulb and releases particles from the lamp. He said it makes him breathe easier, it made him feel better, etc. I figure I would give these a try, I also bought some tea candles to compliment this set, and tried them out. The ambiance from them in a dark room is certainly charming in a rugged way, but I felt no different, and I certainly couldn't breathe any easier at all. I would only recommend getting these if they look good in your intended room, not for any health benefits.

I ordered these and received 3 candles, each carved in the shape of a heart. So I returned and requested an exchange, hoping there was just an error. But I received 3 more heart-shaped candles! I was expecting a natural shape (as pictured), so I'm returning these as well.

It's pleasantly larger and heavier than expected, but disappointed that the curved part of the heart candle holder had a big chip on it and altered the shape of the heart. The one I opened looked like it had been opened and returned and now I have it. It doesn't look smooth like the pictures posted. It's got a textured surface. I was going to return it, but since they jacked up the price, I'll end up keeping it. I've purchased 3 in total and haven't opened the other ones yet. I hope they're okay because I want to gift them.

Baught as a gift . Came in a white box with no print . After buying online i saw some alot better looking ones at the local pharmacy for basicly the same price . Ok if you want this exact model but quite simple and not that Wow. Like othes said candles from dollar store need to be cut on the edge to fit . Not that much of a problem but hole could be a little bigger

You get what you pay for. After reading the reviews I decided to take a chance. They arrived today. I believe these votive holders are seconds... only because the holes drilled into them are not quite centered. One out of the three was close. They have a lot more impurities in them than the store bought one I already had but that makes them unique. I like the fact that they are all different sizes/shapes as it makes a nice arrangement. The votive candles fit quite nicely in the holes and the price is very good. They look nice when lit even if the holes are lopsided. Like someone said... its a hunk of salt! One thing that could be improved on is the packaging. Instead of a box with them wrapped only in a bag it might be better if they were wrapped in bubble wrap to keep them from banging together in the box. I can see why some get damaged in transit.
