I was really excited about this wrist brace, hoping I could wear it to sleep or on long travels, and also planned on using it during work to help my wrist and arm from hurting on the computer. Unfortunately, there are a few flaws that will probably make using this brace not a frequent occurrence.Pros:Love the dial mechanism. I have been trying a few different braces with this mechanism and I must say, it is the BEST invention for something like this. The dial is easy to adjust and the quick release pull of the dial allows me to remove the brace quickly.This is also a durable build, and the hard plastic supports are removable.Lots of comfortable padding.Cons:The materials are HOT. This brace might become a winter brace for me because wearing it for only a few minutes made my hand sweat.The thumb support, which is the main reason I ordered this, has stiff edges sewn on. For me, it hurts my first thumb joint, and for my husband, it hurts the base of his thumb. Even with the support removed, if we want any stability, it hurts. If we make the velcro closure really loose, then there is virtually no support.Overall, it's a decent brace. I probably won't use it much unless I am desperate for support.

I bought these to immobilize my thumb/wrist due to SPICA. They do a great job of immobilizing, yet I can still use my fingers for most tasks. The best part is the adjustment wheels. It makes it very easy to adjust or take off & on. The others I tried with Velcro were difficult to remove because it was painful on my wrist to pull the Velcro. I give these 10/10!I just ordered my second set, so I can have a set to wear while the others are getting washed.

The brace seems decent by itself… but the fact that it smelt like it was manufactured by the Marlboro Man himself made it unusable

This product is helpful to me as I needed to rest my thumb and wrist. It does restrict the thumb but it is bulky to use if you attempt to use it for typing or other activities. It is doing is job.

I have many carpal tunnel wrist braces both with and without a thumb stabilizer. This one is a large wrist brace with a thumb stabilizer and it is usable only on the right hand.This brace is bulky (meaning larger than most) and restrictive. After getting used to the instructions, I like this brace but I found it a tad difficult to tighten all the way. All I have to do is slip my right hand into the brace like putting on a sock. However, I first have to pull up the dial and then pull up on the string (rope) to release the tension. This opens the brace. I can now slip my hand into the brace. Then all I have to do is press the dial in and then "dial it closed" to tighten. For the thumb area, there are two Velcro straps that have to be cinched closed. Those were the hardest to tighten.This brace is very good but I really should have selected the small one because this large size is too big. It is lightweight and provides structured support during sleep to reduce or eliminate numbness associated with carpal tunnel. I always wear my braces overnight and switch up this brace with my others.There is some padding in this, particularly the "bump out" in the palm area, which makes it comfortable. All the support rods are in the right place. It is also easy to get on and off as long as one follows the instructions.Due to its large size and the restrictive nature of this brace, it is not easy to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night with this on.The current price of $21.99 is on the high side of competitively priced for this. Note this also comes with a user guide.
