Levi'sMen's 501 Original Fit Jeans

Surprisingly good quality. Having read other reviews here, I expected stretchy material but can't actually make out a difference with what they sell on high street for almost twice the price. Likewise no difference with previous 501s from the last 40 years.

O bought these as a Christmas gift for my husband as he has had them in the past and loves them. They were not a disappointment, they were exactly as expected and as I wanted him to check them for size before wrapping, he is very happy with them. Perfect fit…true to size and fantastic cut and quality as always

The jeans do have a slightly longer and slimmer leg than those I have bought in store . The denim is a fair quality but doesn't last as long as it used to when I first bought a pair of 501's . The price is the same as in shop .

Always buy same size in Levi , however these were very undersized on the waist sold as 32 w more like 30w so watch out

My first ever pair of 501's, always wore Wrangler as a youngster but now aged 55 I decided to try out some new jeans. Well the High Street outlets were awful with nobody stocking the type of fit and style that I loved in the 80's, all the jeans I tried on were slim fit and/or tapered leg, ok I am not a slim chap but some of them I could barely get my feet through never mind past my knees !Every shop I went into stocked the same style and fit of jeans, they all seemed to be very thin material too with a horrible leg fit not suitable for a man of my age.My son told me to try Amazon for a pair of 501's and bingo he was right. The style, the shape, the quality of material (very thick, unlike the high street brands I tried) and the size (waist 42 leg 32 - believe it or not I am not fat merely tall at 6ft 2inch) was perfect. These are genuine items,amazing quality and a very good mid/late 80,s style, not too loose not too slim fit, you know what I mean if you lived through those times.I have recently been watching some DVD's of both The Smiths, Tears For Fears and Simple Minds and their jeans must have been 501's , well that is what mine are like, stone washed, really thick material with button fly - sure, not the easiest of ways especially if in a rush to go to the loo but they will ease off in time.These are genuine Levi 501 jeans, bought directly from Amazon, not third party sellers ( please note these may also be genuine items but from looking at the various photos posted up of the "leather" rear patch, there is one big difference that shows them to be fakes). So buy in confidence from Amazon and wear a piece of history.

Wow! I've never reviewed a pair of jeans before. This is EXCITING!!! When I think of the trouserless masses waiting in suspen-ders to hear my judgement. Hooo-Ah!!My 15 minutes start right now...Ooooh-kay...H'mmm...Well...These are jeans. Definitely jeans. No other word for them. Their basic jeanishness sticks out proudly. For all to see. Yeah.They are also, apparently, Levi's. His mum even sewed a label above the back pocket, presumably to make sure he didn't lose them.Apparently it didn't work.Still. Never mind. He's still got 500 to choose from.Sorry, yes, that's another thing. It says '501' on the label but you only actually get one. I'm assuming the '1' as a unit, counts for a pair. Otherwise there'd be 502.Now. I don't know what people have been saying, but whatever you might have heard, I'm in no position to testify that these are Straight Men's Jeans. Too big and weird shape. Were for my boyfriend but I had to return them. I had good experiences before with Levi's though, so I guess was the model.

Buying jeans online was a worry but I have to say that these were perfect and as jeans go really comfy. The quantity was there too
