Great love it.
Always wanted one of these testers. Finds faulty capacitors however there needs to be some judgment with the results. So far I have trusted this device to find in circuit faulty capacitors and retested out of circuit and proved correct in the result provided. I am a diy skilled so not an expert however higher voltage capacitors with 82 uF 400v showed possible fault. I think high voltage cap is not ideal with this tester.Results are a resistance related to graph and capacitance < greater than. So far so good. The old way was always with an analog ohm metre looking for short sticking needler read out. Swap polarity looking for steady charge and drop.This aids this and provides a good esr read out for some capacitors dependent on what you are testing. I have identified small capacitors to date but only used it a few hours.A must for any diy person.

Useful test kit
I like the simplicity of use. When checked with an Oscilloscope the 100KHz test signal generated by this meter IS a bit "rough", but at this low price point not too bad! It is a useful tool if you are constructing circuits where you need good Electrolytic Capacitors. Note: this thing does NOT measure VALUES of capacitance, only the Equivalent Series Resistance.
