Attractive and bright alternative to typical LED light panels
The media could not be loaded. Installed a set of these in my newly finished basement and am very happy with the results. These lights look great and are very bright. They feel fairly well made and you do get two additional transformers in the box in case any of them fail. Worth noting that these are not dimmable using a traditional AC dimmer switch, a detail I missed. They require the use of a 0-10v dimmer switch which uses two additional low voltage wires to signal to each transformer, so not suitable for retrofit if that functionality is required, unless you have or intend to add the signaling wires. I have found that they can sort of be dimmed a little bit using a traditional switch but they will blink until you find a point in the range where they stabilize. Can't speak to whether that is good for the electronics, however. One other point of note, the drop ceiling panels that fit into the inside of each light must be cut to fit, they will not fit into the opening otherwise. I found it fairly easy to do with a long straight edge and a sheet rock knife. Wish they were priced a bit better, but hopefully they will work well for some time.
