Okay math flashcards
Hard to explain, but these are okay math cards - not great. So lower expectations and they're fine.

Greta supplemental material
This is a great supplemental set of math cards to help with homeschool teaching. It's not robust enough to replace a whole lesson, but it's a fun way to break up some regular work before lunch or at the end of the day.4 Stars

Great educational game for kids to practice their math skills in a fun & engaging way
My daughter, who recently turned 7 and is about to go into 2nd grade, loved this subtraction game. The concept is great - capturing monsters using your subtraction skills, then adding up their values at the end to see who won the game. This is definitely not just boring flash cards!I love the fact that there is an easy, medium and hard version of the game included, which all use the same capture card deck - that's some seriously impressive game balancing, and I definitely believe the maker's claim that it took them 178 days, 94 iterations and 256 play tests to make the game!I definitely plan to buy the multiplication version of this game too. Great value at $9 and highly recommended.

Quality Issues, Simple to Learn But Not Exciting
First, let's address the quality issues of this game. Clearly this was rushed into production without taking the time to ensure a flawless end product. Several of the cards are printed off center (none are consistently printed) and there are rough edges on some of them where they were not cut well. The cards themselves are thick and durable, however this leads to them being hard to shuffle since they tend to fold rather than bend. Hopefully these problems can all be corrected in future printings. Now, lets move onto the game play. The rules are VERY simple and understandable to even the youngest children. The problem here is that it's just plain boring. There are not many "real" choices to the game and you almost always are able to make a play which just makes it feel monotonous. My kids don't enjoy playing by the "official" rules. All this being said, this is a good tool for homeschoolers. We have already made up new rules to make the gameplay more exciting and we use the addition cards for math review and warmups before our lessons. These are definitely useful as long as you go into this knowing that the gameplay is just ho-hum and you probably will ditch the rules fairly quickly and just use the cards as tools.

Gamified and fun
My son is not going to put down his tablet to pull these cards out... but he does really enjoy the gamified nature. I was not sure how he would take to them as learning doesn't always go over as well as we would all hope. That said he did engage with them more than any flash card or homework he has ever brought home.I would easily recommend these if you are comfortable sitting down with your little person and getting involved in their education. I am always on the lookout for ways to stay engaged and make it less of a chore to help them succeed and this was an easy buy.
