Literally impossible to put on.
The opening of the show is far too narrow to fit my foot into. It even hurts when I try really hard. It's a shame because I really like the look and the design of these shoes.

Perfect
For so long I was looking for a minimal shoe that was also waterproof and there was nothing I could find on the market. So I was excited to see this shoe and it’s lived up to my expectations. It’s incredibly comfortable and lightweight. It’s slightly tight to get your foot into it and this annoyed me initially but now I can see the value as when it rains and water drips off your trousers it doesn’t go into your shoes as it does with normal waterproof boots with more open fastenings. I wear these for hours at a time and they keep my feet dry and comfortable so very pleased with them.

Comfy but flimsy. Not serious shoes
The waterproofing is ok, they are comfy to wear if you like barefoot shoes and fine for walking the dog on a damp field. However, they are sold as serious trail running shoes which they are definitely not. As you can see from the photo, the soles wear flat within a couple of weeks, and given how much they retail for, this is a real disappointment.

how did this shoe ever get put onto the market
I have read other reviews and decided to try the trainer for myself, I have size 12 wide feet and I normally go for a 13.So the Merrells I normally wear are about the right width at the front and slightly to big at the back.I have spent about 10 minutes managing to get one shoe onto my foot. I have given up trying to put the 2nd shoe on my other foot. The good news is, it did not take very long to remove from my foot. The problem with the trainer is the collar as it is almost impossible to get the foot in, other people suggest shoe horns.Once I got one side on, I found the foot was comfortable, but I found it wasn't right walking around the house with one shoe on.I normally find most shoes, I struggle to put my feet in are the wrong size, but this one, once my foot is in it is comfortable, apart from I don't know for the other side. For my cycling I use Northwave artic winter shoe, which is the closest experience to putting on my feet, but there is velcro around the collar and the cough of the collar is split to allow my foot in. I also find it easier putting my feet into my combat boots, considering they are taller boots.I am surprised that this shoe has actually made it past testing and into production.I normally write a review when i fully test it, but considering the shoe does fit once on my foot, but it requires so much effort to put on.

Very poor quality
Not recommended. Sole starting to wear thin in some places after around a dozen times wearing and walking on paths. Comfortable to wear once you discover the technique of being able to get the shoe on but grossly expensive if the sole is going to wear out within a few months. Have had Merrell barefoot shoes for years and after a lot of walking the soles did not wear out in this way.

Very comfortable
I like 'bare foot' style shoes & needed some for off road running. These are really good, broad at the front to stop the painful toes on long runs & seem to be properly waterproof.Really difficult to get on at first but very comfortable once on. Shoehorn helps.Worth persevering with..

Terrible
Hi, I bought these hoping for the usual Merrell fit, I have had nothing but blisters and bad feet since despite trying to adjust the insole. They are the worst walking shoes I have ever had. Unfortunately I wanted them to hike in and didn’t wear straight away so too late to return. I wear your shoes all the time but these have made me rethink. My heels are ruined snd I can’t wear the shoes ever again a waste of money. I am very unhappy

Hard to get on.
Very comfortable shoe, not overly warm, but good enough. Fits a bit on the smaller size, but as a UK 10 it fit as expected. HOWEVER, they are next to impossible to get on. I don't know who designed the neoprene opening but they must have had ankles the size of Poodle's because getting a normal, human man's foot in there is taking more time and effort than I normally put in at the gym. If there is a better way to get them on my feet I'm all ears.

Imposible ponerlas
