Featuring the vocal talents of Bill Murray, John Belushi, Christopher Guest and the son of original Tazan Johnny Weissmuller Jr., JUNGLE BURGER is a rare treat: an adult animated feature that is outrageously sexy, unashamedly rude and decidedly earthy in dialogue! Inspired by the classic jungle duo Tarzan and Jane (not forgetting Cheeta the chimpanzee), it is an hilarious exercise in role reversal. Tarzan becomes SHAME - weak, cowardly and sexually inadequate. Jane becomes JUNE - strident, sexually demanding and naked most of the time. Cheeta becomes CHEAPO, a randy primate who delights in fondling June s breasts and swinging on Shame s genitalia.Shame, is aghast when June, is kidnapped by a gang of giant penises. They take her to their queen, Bazonga, a bald woman with fourteen breasts. After tangling with a gang of great white hunters, a marauding lion and the Molar Men, Shame sets off to rescue her. With only his faithful friend Cheapo at his side, he heads for the dark heart of the jungle... Bush Country!First time to DVD!Cast (Voice):Bill MurrayJohn BelushiChristopher Guest

Shame! Not shameful. Let go cheetahhhhgh!
Tarzoon La honte De Ls Jungle I think the original title is....a cartoon for the occasional belly laugh and lots of sniggering. Very much of its time for "adult" I.e sexually suggestive humour this cartoon is an acquired taste. I would suggest to the broad minded that they acquire a copy. This one replaces my knacked pre 1984 VHS copy with the pause control striations on the tape. The stereotypical hunters and pygmies may have you squirming, the one Shame ( of the jungle) saves from a big cat.....gleeful subversion of cliche. As non PC as they come, this cartoon as Pepys would have said will "do no harm but to read once for information's sake"Buy it and corrupt yourself. Oh, the OSTs good.

Smutty and funny
This animated film is full of stereotypes and X - Rated humour and is very amusing. The characters are voiced by well known actors including the late John Belushi. The film starts with an unsatisfied Jane throwing Shame out of the house. Later she gets pleasured by a group of ' male genitals' which thrills Cheeto the chimp. and then the genitals kidnap her and take her into the jungle. Shame goes after her and battles Cannibals to the tune of 'The Sabre Dance' and then gets kidnapped by a group of British colonial explorers complete with hats and a black guide. Many amusing incidents occur mostly involving animals and tourists including an appearance by Tintin and Snowy assaulting some natives. Overall it is very entertaining.

Brilliant ADULT Animation
I still have an original VHS video of this comedy animation and previouslyconverted it to DVD for my own use several years ago. The quality howeverwas still as video tape, so I was pleased when it was eventually releasedproperly on commercial DVD. If you are broadminded (and you will need to be)then I will heartily recommend this film. It is the type of comedy you can watchagain and still find it hilarious.

the animation itself was fine and the technical stuff was ok but it just ...
What a difference 30 years or so makes.I remember seeing this a lonnnng time ago and thought it highly amusing. so I thought I'd have a trip down memory lane and give it a viewing. Sadly it wasn't anywhere near as amusing as I recalled it was. That said, from an analytical perspective it was overly long. The storey is VERY simplistic and there weren't really enough interesting incidental to pad the length of the film.the animation itself was fine and the technical stuff was ok but it just seemed to fall short in every other department.I'm not sure who exactly would be offended or outraged by it now. not even the Bevis and Butthead brigade would show interest in it. More likely I think with todays perspectives it would be more of the ' idon't get it what is there in this to keep my attention/make me laugh etc'.Technically. Ok.humour/story etc lackingnostalgia/memory lane: glad I got to see it again but sad that I was so easily entertained back then.ACID TEST: would I get it again - NO

I worship it.
Yea. I do. Always have.I went to the big screen to see it when it was released. Of course because it had Bill Murray and John Belushi supposedly.I must have been 18. We loved it. Never forgot it.Rented it on VHS in the 80s and copied it.Pretty much watched it every year since then. Made a DVD from the VHS. And now I have to get it in PAL and convert it to NTSC.Make my own menu- ect.Easy to do. And worth ther effort!!!You weenbags who are grossed out? Kripes. You cant handle much then. Its pretty tame.

Cut
Should have double checked, this is the cut version. It is missing about 27 minutes. It has it's mild chuckles moments, but people don't buy this movie for the humor.
