This fit a Honda Civic 2002 just fine and fixed the latching issue. Do yourself a favor and take out the key lock metal rod. I wasted 20 minutes trying to install the plastic connector to the rod and finally found a youtube video that showed how to take it out and attach it. This took 1 minute to do once I learned how to do it right.

Replica looks exactly like stock.I have no way of telling the durability of this product (moisture protection etc), so only time will tell. But for that price, I believe it is worth it.The product looks and feels solid, and functions just like the stock one.It took me about ah hour to figure out what goes where, removing the old broken actuator and installing this replacement.All works well.Recommend taking some pictures or a video of what and how you remove the old part if you're not confident in remembering the process.Please note that the bolts holding down the actuator is metric. You will need a 10mm socket to remove those bolts. (3/8" is a tiny too small and 7/16" is a bit too big)Thank you seller. 🫡

There is a little red plastic piece on the back side of the unit. Make sure you leave that in place and snap it into position befor edoing the rest of the install. Watch youtube videos to help. Hard to explain since i didnt record it or take photos. But this part worked perfect for my 2003 Honda civic 2 door coupe DX.

Trunk latch fit perfect and was easy to install! Fixed the problem!
