Lots of ports, little bit of heat
The Boxeroo USB C Fast Charger 40W Upgraded Wall Charger Block has lots of ports, two USB C and two USB A. In my testing it charged whatever I plugged in, from iPad, to Android table, to Pixel phones. It even handled misc. devices like flashlights and portable batteries. So, kudos for that.My only concern is that it got a little warm to the touch when charging multiple devices (2 in my case). It wasn't to the point of burning hot, but warm to the touch. To be honest I haven't touched other power bricks that are charging multiple devices, so I don't know if this is unusual. But I do think I won't leave multiple devices plugged in unattended.

Good value
This is a nice little power adapter that is very inexpensive and works well. I was able to charge my Pixel 7 Pro along with several other devices at the same time. I spend a lot of time in hotels and plug space is very limited at some hotels. it's nice that I can plug in all my devices at once and wake up in the morning and they are all charged. It divides it's 40 Watt's between all of the ports so that may limit charge speeds if you have two or more high draw devices. On my iPad Air 5th gen at 57%, it charged at 12.1v 1.61a 19.6W, according to my USB tester. But, my Pixel 7 Pro would only charge at 16.5w where on a different charger it would charge at 23w. My Smartwatch has been picky about the chargers it will work with and so far this charger has not been a problem with the watch.

Amazingly Quick to charge Galaxy Cell
The phone Charger that came with my new cell phone was only a 25 watt charger that didn't do much in quick charging. So I ordered this wall charger and it's been a game changer for sure. Comes with 2 usb-c ports and 2 usb-a ports built in, no cords provided. This charger has 40 watt charging and can bring my cell from 10% charge to 100% in under an hour. Say, 45 minutes. Which is grrreeeaaattt! I would 100% say, that this a great charger to purchase. Great item!

Useful horizontal design, but the plug doesn't stow in the charger
I use the 40 watt charger as a fixed use charger at home with my desktop accessories. The plug doesn’t collapse into the body of the charger, which increases its footprint when packing into a travel bag. As a result, this isn’t my go to charger for traveling. When using it to charge my devices, it doesn’t really get warm at all and is very effective at adding power quickly. I have used multiple types of cables and haven’t had any issues with compatibility. This has been a good device for consolidating down to one plug and it’s horizontal design allow you too keep a second wall outlet available for other uses.

Nice 4 Port Block: 14W USB-A Limit, 20W USB-C Limit
The 3.1A USB-A connections seem to be capable of about 14W (one connected). But the 20Wx2 USB-C hit the native 20W for my phone and even hit 26W on a Chromebook (one connected). So, I think the main note is that I think the 40W is total (the two USB-C's are clearly labeled with 20W with an "each" implied.Size-wise, this is larger than a single USB-C 20W block but I think that's expected. Plugged in, the part sticking out is 2"x1"x1.75" which seems pretty good to me for a 2xA + 2xC block.Packaging: Not to be snooty, but it just comes in a small plastic bag. I don't mind, but just noting in because if this were going to be a gift you'd want to get a small box for it.Bang for Buck: For $12 or $13, you're getting (stated) 40W with multiple connection options. To spend less, I think you'll be at 1 connection.

Works well for my present need and has expanded capability for future needs.
I needed this charger’s 3 amp capability to charge a new tool’s battery pack at 5 V, and it does that well. However, not being familiar with this brand, and knowing that an incorrectly-regulated charger can damage an expensive USB device, I checked to make sure that its conventional 5 V output is safe to use. I measured the output voltage at the USB-A output ports, both at unloaded and loaded conditions. The output voltages under load (charging a 2.5 A-hr power pack) measured at multiple times over several minutes was 5.20 V maximum (5.15 V minimum). The highest open-circuit voltage was 5.21V, indicating a safe output.* The small differences between open-circuit and loaded-circuit indicate good voltage regulation. Satisfied.I did not test the charger in higher-voltage fast-charge mode (available at the USB-C output ports) but appreciate having this capability available for future needs.__________________________* Asking the “Bing Chat” AI engine the following question — “Is 5.2 volts a safe usb charger output voltage?” — resulted in the following answer:“Yes, 5.2 volts is a safe USB charger output voltage. The USB standard specifies that the voltage output of a USB charger should be within the range of 4.75V to 5.25V. So, a charger with an output voltage of 5.2V falls within this range and is considered safe to use. However, it’s important to note that the amperage of the charger also plays a role in determining its safety and compatibility with your device. It’s always a good idea to use a charger that is specifically designed for your device or one that meets its power requirements.”

Perfect for Hotel Travel as Well as RVing
I first used the fast charger in a hotel room where there were limited outlets. I used it to charge my ipad, my phone and my spouse’s phone and it worked perfectly. I didn’t time the charge time but it seemed to charge the devices faster than our regular chargers.I can see using this in any situation where there’s limited outlets like RVs, airports etc. Great device that has been very useful for my needs.
