Just got back from my 4th camping trip with the family and the pouch was a huge success. Well made, compact and weighs pretty much nothing. My favorite feature is the top flap that folds over and clips to the bottom. Makes it easy to hold the cozy with one hand and it keeps your hands warm on those chilly nights.

This cozy bag has made it a lot easier to rehydrate my hiking meals. Especially chicken, that seems to need more time and heat, rehydrated well. I use Ziplock freezer bags for my meals and those fit into this cozy really well. I pour boiling water to my Ziploc bag, mix, seal and put into the cozy, then close the lid. Food stays hot and rehydrates better. If you’re using prepackaged meals, the skinny bags will fit in this cozy better than the wide packages. When you’re eating, pull the lid back and fasten under the cozy to make a handle. Great product! Very light too!

I really like the smart design and quality of this product. It would be great if there was a larger version available that could accommodate dehydrated food in its original aluminum bag. Additionally, it would be helpful if the pouch dimensions, such as width and length, were included in the product description.

This is way too small for anything. At least make it the size to fit a MRE main portion. If this was just a little bit bigger it would be worth the asking price, as is, it is worthless! Don't buy it! It is so much smaller than the pictures shown. Make it larger and I will purchase a bunch.

So, this is what it claims to be. I however, was under the impression that I could open a Mountain House dehydrated meal and put it in this. Such is not the case. The MH pouch does NOT fit in this. You have to preopen your meals and dump them in a freezer bag to use in conjunction with this. Certainly not a deal breaker, but adds an addition step and create more garbage by having to use an extra bag.Other than that, it seems built okay. A tad thin but it will help keep the heat (or cold) in.
