VXi 202768 Passport 21V Over-the-Head Binaural Headset with N/C Microphone

I originally gave this headset a bad review, but changed it after further troubleshooting. My SIP phone was running a very old firmware version causing an odd sound, but I updated the firmware and I'm told that the sound is a lot better now. So, some lessons: (1) make sure you are running recent fw on you phone, and (2) remember to buy the adapter cable you need to get this hooked to your phone., and (3) put the mic a little below your lip so they can't hear your breathing.

I had a problem with the headset from the beginning. I tried contacting the vendor, but was getting no response. I called VXi directly, they gave me an RMA, I sent them defective unit, they returned the replacement within a week, no charge. Excellent experience dealing with VXi.I changed my rating from 4 to 5 stars. I have been using the replacement for a year with no problems. I work from home and sometimes have landscapers working outside my window. Callers never hear the outside noise. If you need a professional headset and dialpad this is the BEST most cost effective solution. You may find something cheaper, but you won't like it.

You'll need a quick connector adapter to utilize this headset. For my Grandstream phone this turned out to be "VXi 30005 QD 1027V RJ9 Lower Cord", but your phone may vary. The headset works quite well and fulfills my expectations: I'm easy to hear, and it's easy to hear the other party.

I have to return this item it does not come with the bottom part to connect to phone so it does not help

I am working on a Masters degree which requires writing A LOT of papers - and I HAAAATE to type! I have used a number of headsets with Dragon NaturallySpeaking, both wired and wireless. I would say this is the most accurate headset I have used. I highly recommend it for this particular use.

Great headset, helps me concentrate on my calls, and people can hear me well. However you will need the adapter piece number Qd 1026V from VXI Corporation for this to work with your regular phone.
