Great value for money
Some really nice, useful sounds. For peanuts.

Nice effect, but check the power supply polarity
First the good stuff - The unit itself is study and well built, and low noise. I was personally after an Andy Summers (The Police) type of sound, and after experimenting with the settings for a while, I was able to get pretty close, so I'm happy with both the build quality and effect. I would have given it 5 stars but for the comments below.POWER SUPPLY: POSITIVE or NEGATIVE TIP?The manual clearly states that the power supply is "positive tip" and this I found a bit strange, because every other effect pedal I have uses the BOSS standard which is a "negative tip", so I googled around a bit to see what experience others had. Unfortunately, there was no clear opinion. People fell basically into two camps1. Those who had not read the manual and just used a regular BOSS type power supply (and it had worked, luckily!)2. Those who refused to buy any Donner effects because they were afraid they would accidentally plug in the wrong polarity supply and destroy them.Being the curious type, I opened up the unit and found that the black wire (usually ground) was in fact going to the tip of the DC jack as I would normally expect, and the red wire (usually 9V +ve) was going to the shield of the DC jack. This was enough to convince me that (on my unit at least) the manual was wrong and in fact it required a negative tip supply. So I plugged in my BOSS power supply, and thankfully it worked as expected.I don't know what would have happened if I'd used a supply as per the manual, it may or may not have worked. All I can say is be very careful, because in my case I believe the manual was wrong, and that the unit required a negative tip supply as per the vast majority of other effect pedals.Disclaimer: This review relates to my specific unit. There is a possibility that not all units are the same, and/or the manual has been corrected/reprinted, so I cannot guarantee the polarity of other units. Plugging in a supply with the wrong polarity may possibly damage the unit. If you are at all unsure, please check with the supplier before plugging in power.

Brilliant before it STOPPED WORKING
Was an incredible and beautiful sounding pedal until it STOPPED WORKING.Sadly I only used it for a few times in the last two years and today I got it out to use and it just didn’t work. The light comes on but it doesn’t work and I can’t return it as the return window expired in January.Sadly I love the pedal but cannot trust buying another replacement if Donner won’t replace this and will have to buy a different brand instead

Micro Mistress
I don't have masses of space left on my pedalboard, but wanted to add a flanger - it had to be a micro pedal and I've had good experiences with two other Donner pedals - Water Echo (delay and chorus) and Dark Mouse (Rat style distortion), so gave this a go - low cost, so low risk when buying blind. Really impressed - Electric Mistress style flange (add a touch of chorus and you're straight in "Spirit of radio" territory. Wide range of flange, no noticeable volume boost and pretty quiet for a flanger. Haven't paid much attention to the filter setting (freezes tone at a given stage of flanging, a bit like a cocked wah pedal), as that's not really my cup of tea. Just remember that these need a 9v supply, as no room in pedal for batteries!

Good but limited use
Product is a fairly good flanger but nothing to rave about, I expected more but for the money it does flange, a bit limited and believe it will work better with my synth than it does with a Guitar

Goth in a box.
Works better before the distortion or it sounds choppy, but it's totally 80s goth in a box. Captures the Robert Smith sound perfectly. I'm sure it does other things, but for me it plays an angry cover of A Forest, makes that noise you hear at the start of Burn, and with some boost and whammy makes a satisfactory Satan's Smoke Detector to keep my singer happy. It doesn't click or pop or have a big level change like some other cheapo pedals. I'm really happy with it.

No Brainer Purchase
This is a great little flanger. From what I have read, it is a digital clone of the electro harmonix electric mistress. I don’t have an original to compare it but it creates that Electric Mistress chorus like effect Andy Summers used in The Police (as well as that classic jet plane flange sound). It’s well built, only downside is that it is too small to take batteries so you will need a power supply. Other than that it’s great I have several other flangers including a Boss BF-2 as well as a Moog Clusterflux - each has its own sound and is better for certain sounds than others. This Donner unit is perfect if you can’t afford the £300+ a vintage pedal will set you back and is no big loss if you just fancy getting one to experiment with it.
