The straps felt strong but looked a bit cheap in the design; however, this could be a personal preference.

These are gorgeous and worked with my birthday dress, however they were fragile and having to double them up in the back as opposed to being straight straps that clip on creates more tension. I would suggest getting two pair in case one breaks.

I ordered the 1Pair Shiny Crystal Shoulder Strap Bra Chains. They are very pretty, but they are incredibly delicate. I am really unsure how long they will last because I don't think they are going to be heavy duty at all. But I am not going to be wearing them out at night, and this is mainly for pictures. I would not trust these to hold up a dress or a top. What I had in mind with these was putting these on for bra straps and wearing one of those fancy mesh tops where your bra shows through. If the bra already is secure on your body, it doesn't have to rely on these straps. Some of my bras don't have removable straps, but I put these in one that does and it worked fine. I had to make the straps nearly the tightest they will go. I felt like all the extra slack was hanging with the chain, but I could stuff it inside the bra where you wouldn't see it. I feel like something like this would just be better for a photo shoot. Or if there was some way you could use your regular straps and put these right on top and double up, but I doubt they'll fit. So, they will work just fine for what I need them for, but I can't really tell you what will happen wearing them on a garment for several hours.
