Winsor & Newton Cotman 21ml Water Colour Tube - Gamboge Hue

This is a good watercolour tube based paint - the black is deep enough and it provides all you might expect from the product. Price wise there are possibly cheaper out there but it performs well and whilst tubes always present the problem that you might not be able to get 100% of product out before you need to discard the tube, the black is a colour that can be used sparingly so it will provide a good coverage/many paintings/projects before you run out

Extremely disappointed . Tube is not sealed as tube paint are usually when brand new . All spilled in the box . Really , extremely disappointed . No word to express how disappointing it is. Tube all spilled with paint as it was not sealed . All tube paints I I have bought new we need to puncture the top first time use . .These tubes arrived all spilled . so bad !! Terrible surprise

Somethings not quite right with This, I mean it was really cheap so not sure what I expected, maybe it’s out of date? I’ve got lots of these that all react with water the same way and this doesn’t.. it’s a lot thicker than normal and doesn’t spread how I would expect. The sender also didn’t pay the correct postage so I had to foot the bill, only a couple quid by still! and after messages from myself and amazon have not replied. Wouldn’t buy from these guys again and will be visiting my art shop to buy this directly as the product doesn’t seem the usual quality.

I like Cotman colours. They are generally good value for money. However, I've just had 2 x 21ml tubes from bargain artist shop delivered in one package, and both tubes have been creased up, probably bent up in transit. The plastic bag they came in did not protect them. Hence, they just don't look new, which is annoying to me.

These colours are better than Crawford and Black watercolours, but you get what you pay for, and I recommend these as a step up from beginners sets and for students probably. The colours are nice and punchy, and the 21ml tubes are easier to use than the smaller sizes. I have bought several different colours and continue to buy more.

Im disappointed. I find the paint tube squashed in a package and as it is not sealed as a normal tube paint when, I opened the tube (even with care to don’t make a mess or waste any paint) a GOOD amount of paint spilled out. Really disappointed,!! It’s not an expansive item but for this type of brand, I would expect a better service. Definitely I’m not gonna buy any more paint online and I recommend to everyone to go directly and buy it from a shop to avoid this circumstances and the waste of product.

High quality watercolour. I use straight out of the tube when it's wet, and then sometimes I also put a blob in a plastic palette and let it set so I can use it later when activated with water.
