I purchased two of the blood pressure monitors. I needed one and we have an adult daughter with a disability who requires 24 hour a day care in her own apartment. I specifically wanted one that was a digital and had the cuff to be placed on the arm. It needed to be able to be easily used by a variety of personal care attendants without a great deal of knowledge of how it worked.It has not disappointed me at all. Very easy to program with date, time, etc. It is easy to operate and large numbers on screen make the readings easy to read. It gives pulse as well. And most importantly, it seems to be accurate. It retains past readings so I can give an accurate report to the doctor. It's relatively light weight, so I can pack it for travel.I would definitely buy this product again. A satisfied buyer.

I have been using this BPM for a few days now in my home and feel like I'm ready to review it. I'll go with the old pro/con style review this time.Pro's:Big easy to read screen.Batteries included.Blood pressure cuff feels high quality and is very easy to slip on and tighten by yourself.Great features for the price, I.E. the 40 reading memory with average function.Button placement and feel/function avoids false starts from just picking up or moving the unit.Con's:If you update the time/date after taking some readings, those readings are still listed under the old time/date.Other thoughts: The rubber tube that runs from the unit to the blood pressure cuff just plugs into the side until it seats flush. My first thought about that was "oh this thing is going to pop out after the first week". It is still seated flush and I no longer feel that way. I do not plan to disconnect the tube from the unit after each use. I can imagine that piece wearing out after disconnecting/reconnecting it from daily use after a time. I'm going to Just leave it plugged inOver all the price vs. features is a 5 star. There are some really slick looking units out there that I thought of buying because the interface looked really sweet. If all you need to do is keep track of your blood pressure this unit will do the job.

I take care of my ninety six year old grandmother and part of her routine is blood pressure twice a day. We have been using this device for about three days now and feel we have used it enough to present this review.The machine arrived well packaged and had all the documentation you need to operate it.This device does not plug into an outlet and requires 6 AAA batteries that were provided.The device is light weight and the cuff plugs and unplugs easily into its adapter and remains firm.The display is large and easy to read with an excellent lcd display that can be read without a problem.The only thing we really found to be difficult was the cuff itself, The velcro thats on it is very hard to move, and wraps to far around the cuff. The hose on the cuff is a little bit to short, if it were 4 inches longer it would have been perfect for comfort and maneuverability without having to pull the device around.Overall, the device functions as intended, is easy to use and appears well made. We were satisfied with this machine and will keep it.

I bought a Lifehood Blood pressure monitor after my Doctor told me I had Stage 3 Renal Failure and she said it was important to monitor my pressure daily. I researched all the different monitors and Lifehood got the best reviews. I am very happy with the monitor which I have been using for 6 months. Easy to set up, easy to use and easy to read results. II also like the heartbeat feature which will pick up an irregular heartbeat during the measurement. It has a memory which means you can look back at certain dates and see what your pressure was then. I just purchased another one for my winter home as I forgot and left my monitor in summer home. When I arrived and realized I had left my monitor there I did not think twice about what kind I would get. I immediately got on Amazon and reordered the same model. (TMB-1775).. Very happy with purchase.

I bought this Blood Pressure Monitor for my husband. He has been having issues with an irregular heartbeat and gets stressed easily when he begins feeling "strange". He always wants to go to the pharmacy to check his blood pressure and pulse several times. This monitor has put his mind at ease and we don't have to constantly go out just to get his blood pressure checked. We also like the fact that the machine has an icon to show when it has detected an irregular heartbeat. Now he can check it periodically and make note of any irregularities the monitor has picked up. Then he can give that information to his doctor. Neither he, nor I, am very technologically adept, and this monitor was so easy to use. It also keeps several readings so you can get an average over a time period. We are very happy with the monitor and I have already recommended it to my sister, who had been advised by her cardiologist to get a monitor to keep track of her blood pressure and pulse as she had a stent put in last summer. A wonderful price for peace of mind!
