Don't hesitate to purchase!
Was hesitant to buy because of price, but tis tool is extremely well made, easy to use. I did 4 sprinkler heads in about 10 minutes with no digging. Have a whole system that is old and heads will not go down, so replacing about 20 heads. What a time and labor saver!

Did the job quickly and efficiently.
These Keyfit lawn watering system tools do exactly as advertised. I hate working on old sprinkler systems with a passion, so anything that will make my job easier is a blessing. When I first got these and took a look at them they looked homemade. What I mean is that they don't have the manufacturing finesse and polish that you find with most tools sold online and in stores. No matter. The two flat tools look to be either laser cut, or maybe waterjet cut, which means they were made with precision. The result are tools that fit well and work as expected. The cone shaped tool is a casting. All three tools preformed flawlessly at the tasks they were designed for. They saved me time and anguish from digging out broken sprinkler heads. That's a beautiful thing.

Really makes short work of removing sprinkler heads
As a tool, this works great to remove sprinkler heads. Using a drill, the cone device cuts through grass to eventually grab the cap and unscrew it. This can happen in seconds. Beats having to use channel-lock pliers. If you need to remove the body, the other tools insert inside and unscrew the whole body out of the ground. I’ve had to dig too many heads out to replace them. This should make it possible to remove the head without disturbing the dirt, thus leaving a custom cavity to put the new sprinkler head into. These tools are also extremely heavy and sturdy. They are designed to last. Even though I do think these are great tools, as a homeowner I wouldn’t pay $69 for these (I didn’t). They are more expensive stainless steel, but still I think they are pricey. Perhaps if you are a small business in sprinklers where time is money, this cost makes sense.

Built Like A Tank and Works Flawlessly
Easy to use, built with heavy gauge steel, unbreakable and repairable if it ever did break. I miss these types of tools. Heavy steel and American Made! Very nice!

Amazing tools for servicing sprinkler heads
I was looking to replace several sprinkler heads and while searching for low cost replacements on Amazon, I came across these tools. I didn't even know they existed. I was dreading having to deal with it but these made the process very easy and reduced the time it took dramatically. While I only had to replace 2 heads this time, I have many more that I plan to replace after winter and I am actually looking forward to it. If you do your own irrigation maintenance or even do it professionally, these are worthy time savers.

Great time saver!
Everything accomplished exactly how it said it would, and I expected. The only surprising thing was how deep I had to go to engage my residential sized rainbird sprinkler head. As you can see in the picture, I bored down until half the tool was buried. It did successfully latch onto the round plastic head, with minimal marks. The spades are roughly cut. When I used it, it worked, but it shaved a thin ribbon of plastic from the inside of the body. No big deal, I just yanked it out before installing the head.My recommendation would be to sell this as a contractor tool, and make a smaller one for prosumers working on smaller sprinkler heads. Also, it might be a good idea to tumble the spade plates, although maybe the rough edges aid in grabbing the body, so it's a "feature not a bug."Definitely recommended for anyone needing to do 5+ sprinkler heads.

Very heavy duty. Should last forever.
This set includes three pieces. One of which is a conical shaped cage with a serrated edge designed to be chucked into a drill. It easily cuts the turf around an installed sprinkler head. Once the overgrown turf has been cut back, the cage will grab the sprinkler housing and unscrew it from the piping below making the removal of the sprinkler very easy. Alternatively, it will remove the top of the sprinkler, exposing the internals that can be lifted out. After which, one of the other two kit pieces can be used on the interior of the sprinkler housing to grab it from the inside and spin it off the piping. It works with most rotary heads but it's too big for some of the smaller heads. These kit parts are made out of very thick heavy stainless steel. the bit end that goes into the drill chuck is welded on with a very heavy weld. I can't imagine that these will ever break. It does a great job removing the old sprinkler heads. But in loose soil the dirt may fall back in the hole so install the replacement head my still require digging a bigger hole manually.

Kind of expensive for what you get, but they do the job
These did not come with any instructions, but they were not difficult to figure out. It would have been nice to know the run the drill in reverse when cutting through the grass before removing a head. Running it in forward will tighten the head more once it comes into contact with the head. That being said, it cut through the grass and sod around a head that needed to be raised. Once in contact with the head it easily unscrewed it so it was easy to remove without having to dig a hole in the yard. I think this will be useful to remove grass from around a head once in a while to keep it clear of obstructions when watering. The conical cutter cuts through grass and sod easily, but the one I received was not very centered so it had some wobble to it. Since there is no guide point you have to be careful to keep it centered over the head so you don't hit with the serrated edge.
