Although the debate about hightop vs. "regular" shoes has advocates on both sides, I find that the lightweight, old school feel of Chuck Taylors works extremely well for me, keeping the ankle that was twisted in an accident a few months ago stable and comfortable.

I mean it's the classic high top chucks, there isn't much or any arch support and it's a bit narrow at first until you break the shoe in a bit. I use them for work and they're holding well without any issues so far.

I had the waterproof version of these but with summer coming around they were getting to hot. I was worried about the width on these considering they wouldn't have the insert. But they were perfect. Completely happy with my purchase and only regret not ordering them sooner.

I have order these before and once again they are a perfect fit a easy shoe not fancy.

The delivery took a long time and although I have only worn the shoes for a day they held up well on the first day and they are quite comfy.

I finally replaced my husband's black converse which were identical to these new ones. He had worn & loved the old ones so much that they were brown instead of black & wrapped in places in duct tape. The man loves his cons!!! Hopefully I won't let these ones get to the same point before replacing them.

Shoes were a perfect fit, and arrived earlier than expected date.
