Made of aluminium alloy, it is both robust and durable, whilst remaining relatively lightweight. The machining is excellent and it has a good finish throughout.This L-bracket is compatible with Arca-Swiss compatible mounts and designed to allow you to quickly and easily switch your camera from landscape (horizontal) to portrait (vertical) orientation, without the need to readjust your mount or tripod.In practice it works very well and makes the process of changing orientation much quicker, allowing you to focus on your photography. Usefully, the baseplate can be extended in order to move the vertical section further away from the camera, to allow you to cables to the side of the camera, should you wish to. The hex key needed for this adjustment is handily stored in the base of the bracket, and secured in place by a magnet.The design of the bracket is such that it does not interfere with access to the controls or with the functioning of the camera. It is also designed in such a way that it still allows access to the battery compartment whilst the bracket is in place. This is a solid little l bracket and makes going portrait mode on my gimbal and tripods very easy indeed and with social short-form videos being ever more popular this allows me the speed to do video shorts alongside my regular landscape videos much easier, very happy with it.

***UPDATE**** Customer service #1. Neewer reached out, immediately replaced the bracket and so far so good! This is using the Z9 and 135 Plena lens. The vertical side is already bent which is disappointing and makes me have to readjust the ball head for level, the price is good, but will not purchase again, but will be looking to a different more robust L bracket soon.

Works very well on the Nikon Z9, fits perfectly on my Benro tripod. I actually like it as a left-hand grip without a tripod. Doesn't wobble. Seems like the left hand side is removable by I did not try it yet.

Neewer has built a reputation for building solid products at reasonable prices. When you think of it, this is a piece of metal. Why would other brands sell this for hundreds of dollars?The bracket is very well-built, the finishing is fantastic, it holds my Z9 tight, and it comes with a magnetically-attached hex key for piece of mind.Bravo Neewer!

This bracket does not have the small screws to stop it from sliding off a tripod head. This is the first time I've purchased a bracket without these screws and I would preer to have them.
