Yes! Great intro to Shakespeare for my 8-year-old. She loved this comic book-style format, and it really helped her to get comfortable with the story line before going to see the performance. We bought a different book from another children's Shakespeare series, which she felt wasn't nearly as interesting or fun to read.Also, confession time: I am a great lover of books and enjoy Shakespeare performances, however have always hated actually reading Shakespeare. I really enjoyed reading this book myself!

I learned to appreciate Shakespeare after I read this book. I love the illustrations on this pocket classics. This is the best among all the Comedies he wrote.

I was looking for a way to introduce my grandson to the Bard's work. This will definitely be the ticket.
