The size, thickness and the material of the mat is very good. It does not slide and is very comfortable to use, provides good support. The strap is useful to carry it and keep it tidy. I like the colour and the beautiful pattern on the surface.

I love the look of this mat. Mine is blue with orange underside. The graphics really help me to align and it rols up nearly for storage under my sofa. It seems to be wearing well after 6 months. The only downside is that this isn't as grippy as my old foam mat, and I'm not particularly sweaty.

Not long had this and only used a couple of times so far but appears to be a very good mat.Obviously quite subjective depending on personal preferences but I like that it is not too thick (6mm) but is actually quite firm so you don’t sink in too much.I note others have had issues with slipping a little when sweaty. I have had 2 x Xn8 mats before and experienced this but they just needed ‘running in’ and the grip improves. Personally I have not had the same issue with the Gallant.Early days yet but an excellent, supportive, lightweight mat for a reasonable price - suspect would compare well with the £150 mats out there….Any criticisms?For me the carry strap is not perfect (l did get the correct strap unlike some other reviewers) but it is fixed loop and all elasticated - this would only be a quarter of a star so still a 5* product. Just prefer non-elastic Velcro fastened straps so I am using the one from my previous Xn8 and all is good.

The media could not be loaded. This mat is gorgeous. A lovely colour and nice thickness and I like the alignment lines and it’s a great price. However for down dog I find it a bit slippy.

This was purchased for a child's ballet class so I wanted it to be fairly lightweight and not too bulkly for her to carry it around, but also be a little soft. It ticks the boxes well!- and the line down the middle is a great bonus! It's not as padded obviously as some of the thicker ones (this is 6mm I think)- but it's not like foam that will get damaged or bent out of shape as it has a nice coating on the top. So it depends how much comfort you want/ it you're taking it out and about- but it's great for the weight, and is a lovely colour! Comes with a little carry strap (more like a thick string- not like the black webbing one in the photo, so probably not quite as comfortable) that is much needed- it does make it slip through a little sometimes as most of them do- but if you make sure it's tight it works ok.
