I was a bit torn about purchasing this item because of some of the reviews, which I heavily rely on when making any purchase from any website. I am always realistic about the reviews that products recieve. I understand that some people really test out the product and are very fair in their assestments, and I know that others give very unreliable and uneducated reviews (mostly because they did not read the product information (or understand it) before they made their purchase and they ended up disappointed when the order arrived.There were, what seemed, quite honest and thoughtful reviews, but even more reviews from people that were unhappy (with many of them, seemingly, thoughtful).I decided to purchase the item, despite the negative reviews, simply because the price was decent and I knew I could return the item if it was just completely horrible. Normally, I would not have made the purchase because, as I stated earlier, I rely heavily on customer reviews. I am glad that I followed my instincts this time instead of the reviews.This product is great. No deception by the company, at all, in the description. And I must say that I was very surprised at the quality of this item, considering there were so many people that said it was made cheaply. I wonder what they thought they were ordering, and wondering, even more, why they decided to leave bad reviews. As I said, the item is EXACTLY as described by the company and there was absolutely nothing in the description that was misleading or that suggested it was of a higher quality than it is. So anyone purchasing this, and who has read the information, should know exactly what to expect.Yes the material had a few wrinkles when I opened it......not a problem at all. In fact I didn't even take out the iron like some of the other reviewers say they did. Once I rolled it up and left it over night the wrinkles were gone.....It did not come folded, but instead it was rolled and packed inside one of the tubes. The wrinkles are one thing that I do not understand the complaints about. This has been made for working very large puzzles. I wonder how people actually think this should have been packaged in order to avoid any wrinkles. I suppose they think that the felt should have been laid flat with cardboard (or some such material) used to make it stable, and then it be packaged and sent that way. Ha Ha Ha.....can you imagine?!?!?!!! When laid flat, this is gigantic!! Kudos to the company for choosing the packing option they did.As far as the other pieces included, they are all as described, and of a higher quality than I expected. Yes, the tubes are cardboard. Very sturdy cardboard and very easy to use. I also like the elastic bands with the velcro closures.....very easy to use, as well.If I was asked to find at least one fault with this, it would be that the tubes fit together quite loosley and they will, easily, detach from each other if you don't pay attention when rolling the felt. If the fit was a bit more snug I think that would be nice.Happy I purchased this item instead of one of the more expensive ones? YESWould I recommend this to others? YESWere some of the reviews misleading? YESDid the company make misleading comments as to the quality of the item? NODid I think I was getting something different than what I ordered/recieved? NOWould I purchase this item again, for myself or as a gift? YESDoes this work as described? YESIs this easy to use? YESWas it worth the price? YES.....And as to the comments from others suggesting they could go to the store and purchase all the items included with this kit, and that it would be cheaper and of better quality, I would like to see it done! I have been crafting, puzzling, etc. for years and years, and know that it would be impossible to buy these items (of the same quality) for less than the cost of this kit.Sure, you could go to a hardware store or craft store and purchase everything included with this, but you would surely spend much more money and time getting it done, and would not have the luxury of ordering from home and then making a quick trip to the mailbox to get your product.So, to potential buyers, I recommend this product! There are other options available, with most of them at a higher cost, even though most of them list the same materials in their descriptions. So for the price, quality, and intended use, you can't go wrong with this one!!

I bought this for my mom to assemble 1000 piece puzzles on. She likes this mat and was able to easily roll and unroll her puzzle. Some pieces do have to be put back together after unrolling but we expected that.

Bought this item because I’ve been working on a 3000 puzzle for awhile, I needed a break from it and thought this item would help me safely put the puzzle away and keep it in the same shape it’s in. There’s less than 2 inches if not an inch between where my 3000 puzzle ends and the “mat” ends. Picture in the description presents that it’s more. The mat is also fabric, not a fan as it doesn’t lay flat on its own. Once I rolled up my puzzle, the outer part of the fabric roll is not sturdy to keep puzzle pieces in, I had more than 10 pieces fall out. For this price it should come with a mat cover to help prevent puzzle pieces being lost. I guess had I know what this product really was, I would have went to Jo Ann fabric and bought my own fabric that was long enough for way less than the price I paid.

I was worried about ordering a roll-up puzzle mat since I heard it was cheaply made and didn't work well, but I really needed some way to easily store away my puzzle in a compact manner, so I decided to give it a try. Yes, the product is cheaply made since it's just a large piece of felt, and a 3 piece telescope tube with some velcro straps, but hey, it actually works and does it's job without causing me any frustration.The mat is very big and can fit up to 3000 pieces, which is very nice. The purple background allows for colors to stand out more. I've also heard people complain that they cannot slide their pieces across the felt, but on mine, i can slide the pieces around perfectly. When I roll up and unroll my puzzles, all the pieces are perfectly in tact as well.The only problems I had with the roll-up mat were that it was very wrinkly when I took it out, but that was easily solved by ironing it, and the fact that the telescoping tube is in 3 different pieces, so it can slide apart when it is not strapped. Other than that, it is a very useful and easy-to-use product.

Its funny how the shippers on this site wont ship the smaller ones such as the 1500-2000 piece rolls claiming they were to big to ship but this vendor would ship a 3000 piece one. At first glance this Jumbo Roll-up kit might seam like overkill however we found the extra space when putting a 1000 piece puzzle really helped as when we put together the edge pieces we used the extra space to spread out the other pieces and was able to roll it up and unroll it with little to no problems. I would have given it a 5 star except for the Velcro straps was where it did loose a star as cheap made does not even describe the straps quality. The roll comes in 3 pieces with 2 being the same size with a third being slightly smaller so you can put the 2 together to make the wider roll and even extend it out if your putting together larger puzzles.

We have made two puzzles with it, and it really is convenient to use. I would recommend possibly ironing the fabric before first use, we didn't, but it would have made the puzzle making easier if we had taken the time to iron it before putting the puzzle on it. It really does keep everything there so you can stow the puzzle away till you want to take it out again. Now, for what you are buying, when you open it, it seems a lot to pay for the fabric, cardboard tube and velcro/elastic straps, but we have not made puzzles for years due to the inconvenience of having to make space somewhere in the house for them, and then having to cover them keep the cats off of them. So this was a worthy purchase, we have enjoyed making puzzles again, even took one on a recent trip with us that we were able to finish and then roll back up and take home without breaking it up.

Me parece que está bien, sin ser lo máximo. Lo compré para un rompecabezas de 2000 piezas y cumplió su función. La tela me pareció bien, es delgada, pero eso permitió que las arrugas se plancharan bien y quedara más liso. Tengo uno más pequeño de la marca más común de rompecabezas y la tela es más gruesa, pero queda menos liso.Hasta aquí, mi calificación sería de 5 estrellas, pero dos detalles no me gustaron. Primero, el cilindro es de cartón duro y armable, pero la parte intermedia es de menor diámetro y las piezas que quedan a esa altura se mueven un poco al enrollarlo. Segundo, en la caja dice que este tapete es para rompecabezas de hasta 3000 piezas, pero el rompecabezas que yo armé (ver foto) es de 2000 y creo que apenas cupo. Honestamente, no creo que en este tapete quepa un rompecabezas de 3000 piezas. Lo recomiendo sólo para rompecabezas de 2000 piezas o menos.

Bought this for my dad as a Christmas gift and he absolutely loves it. He's a big puzzle fan, but also a massive clean freak. So being able to enjoy his puzzles but roll them up when he doesn't want to look at them is fantastic!DO NOTE - This does come in the manufacturer's packaging, not in a box. Aka I missed this tid bit of information and the surprise was almost ruined. If my dad had picked it up he would have seen it as they ship in the original box with a label slapped on. My fault for not reading thoroughly, but just a heads up for anyone else who misses it.

Expensive for the actual product. It is something you could make yourself for less than 15 dollars. BUT the fact that the tube is not inflatable is the reason why I bought it, and it is my mom's Christmas gift.

This product works perfectly and is sturdy, the straps holds everything tightly together so you won't loose any pieces. I did not give it 5 stars because the felt material catches easily on the puzzle pieces so building the puzzle on the felt is a hassle. You might want to use something like wax paper between the felt and the pieces. Otherwise I'm happy with the size, it's really large but you can fold it and slide the cardboard rolls to a smaller size to accommodate smaller puzzles.

Okay. This works as intended, I guess. But so would a sheet of felt wrapped around a wrapping paper tube. Definitely not something I would purchase again, though I didn't return it either because now that I have it, it's more work to return it and make my own than to just keep it. It doesn't wrap as tight as it should, but with a bit of work it does hold the puzzle securely with the included straps. I advise taping the tube to keep it from coming apart.
