The best home mechanic bike stand so far!
I was, and still am, a huge fan of the Gioventù/GOEHNER's bike stand (AKA G-bike stand). It had all of the features I wish I had had when I was using the ANGGOER bike stand (no longer available). But as I continued to build and service mountain bikes as a home mechanic, even the G-bike stand had its issues that I dealt with.Enter the CyclingDeal bike stand. Whoa! Not only is it $30 less than the G-bike stand (at the time of this review) and probably a few pounds lighter but it also solves several of the issues I was having to deal with on the G-bike stand. Here's a list of the reasons I like the CyclingDeal bike stand over the G-bike stand.1. The main body tubes are aluminum and although a bit fatter, help to make the stand lighter overall. The G-bike stand was definitely heavy and although that's not a bad thing, made it less portable.2. When the CyclingDeal stand is fully set up, it leans forward a few degrees so that the bike and its pedals are far enough away from the main vertical tube that they don't touch. I was able to do this with the G-bike stand but it was not intended to be that way and therefore the clamp component at the top didn't work correctly if I was trying to clamp a seat post.3. Speaking of the main vertical tube, the CyclingDeal vertical tube has a groove/notch built into the tube so that it can't rotate. The G-bike stand relied on the clamp to secure the tube in place and with enough force, the main vertical tube could rotate... and often did.4. The clamp is better in every way. The clamp on the G-bike stand used a standard quick-release clamp with a wing-nut on the opposite side. It worked fine but it was clumsy and different to get set up correctly when installing a bike that hadn't been there before. The CyclingDeal bike stand solves this with a proprietary quick-release that can be adjusted while the bike is in the clamp, meaning, that even when the clamp is secure, you can continue to spin the quick-release to tighten it even further. This is super helpful.5. The general fit and finish of the CyclingDeal bike stand are nicer than the G-bike stand. Nothing against the G-bike stand but this new stand is a step up.6. The parts tray is huge compared to my other two stands. That's not to say that this tray is any better than the other trays but it is bigger. I'm just not a huge fan of these generic trays. T-handle allen/hex wrenches just don't stand upright and the holes are never the correct size. I get it, they are generic but still, we all use more or less the same size wrenches. Give me ten holes that are specifically cut for bike allen/hex wrenches. It's not all sunshine and rainbows, however, the one thing that I did like a bit better on the G-bike stand is that the quick-release for the 360-degree clamp angle is much bigger and more accessible than on the CyclingDeal bike stand. The CyclingDeal bike stand's quick-release is still good but just not as convenient. The CyclingDeal bike stand really does fix a lot of the issues I was dealing with on the G-bike stand. Even better it's lighter and more portable. I kept the ANGGOER bike stand because it was so portable and so that I could take it to the downhill parks with me but maybe now that I have the CyclingDeal stand I can finally use just one stand for everything.

Not just a pretty pair of legs. This stand is awesome.
I'm a tall guy (6'1.5") with big bikes (a 60 Cannondale, and this POSEIDON is their XL/58, for example). I'm also a big bike fan, in addition to being a bike commuter (in NYC) and avid, recreational cyclist.I've never bought a work stand. When I started to do more of my own work on my bikes during COVID (removing and replacing chains, removing and replacing tubes and tires, indexing and tuning my drive trains and brakes - thank you Park Tool, via YouTube), I was using my trainer (without the tension engaged), which was manageable but definitely not ideal. For a great price, I'm wowed by this stand right out of the box. The tubes are beefy, and perfectly finished, but the entire stand is truly light. The quick release clamps have a smooth, well machined, shape and finish as well.Other than the tool tray, this comes fully assembled and folded, so you're getting a quick sense of the entire build as you're standing it up. Every part moves smoothly, is in pristine shape (no dings, scratches, bent or loose parts), and functions perfectly. All the clamps tighten easily, with minimal twisting required.I was so impressed by the build and "polish" I had to get a bike up to see if it lives up to its looks. And ...*drumroll* Yes. Yes it does. My commuter (pictured) bike is an aluminum ("gravel") frame with a carbon fork. My SRAM APEX group is custom, but designed for durability, not weight watching. I've never weighed my bike, but given the size, it's average. The stand has got it, with zero wiggle.I'm so glad I chose this stand. Luckily I have the space for it. I'm sure there are stands with a smaller footprint, but a big plus for me is, I can stretch this stand tall enough to work on my bike standing up tall, if I want to, and regardless of what I'm up to, I can see and get to everything with such ease. Very cool.Aside from the name, this "BIKE HAND" stand deserves a big hand. It's a great piece of equipment that I'm now amped to own.

A surprisingly sturdy bike stand for a great price
The question is can a sub-$100 bike work stand be any good? As far as this particular instance is concerned, the answer is Yes.To be sure, this is not a Park Tool bolted-into-the-floor stand. But it is, I think, remarkably good at holding a bike at eye-level to be worked on. It is, though, essentially a pole and when you put your bike on it, and particularly when you raise the bike up, you have a pole with a weight on the end. But when I said remarkably good at holding a bike I meant it. At no point during a vigorous cleaning, and extended as far up as it would go, did it ever feel like the whole thing was going to tip over. Not the same as bolted to the floor, but I had full control at all times.Setting it up was easy. There is no assembly required. The whole thing comes with the legs folded up, the inner pole all the way down, the bike arm in a down position, everything curled up in a pretty small package. Putting it to work is just opening up various quick-releases, folding the legs down, pulling the inner pole up, straightening the bike holder, opening the jaw, and shoving the bike in. When you’re done, close everything up, stick the stand in the lovely cardboard box it came in.II know this is going to come in incredibly handy. I’ve got plans for a bike computer, sensors, maybe power meters. A few additions I have done I’ve either used my car bike rack or just awkwardly held up the bike with one hand while using my other two hands to hold a piece of gear and screw it on the bike – yeah, I don’t have three hands; that’s why a bike work stand is so very useful and why this one, inexpensive as it is, but very steady, will get a lot of use.

Amazing for bike owners!
I can't believe I ever lived without a bike stand. No more sore back or knees working on the ground like a caveman. It's clear that this stand was designed by a biking enthusiast, it is very well thought out; The tray is huge, I never have an issue storing tools of parts, the slot on the vertical tube to prevent rotation is an amazing touch and the 360 degree clamp holds incredibly well with no slipping. Not to mention the quality and finish on this stand is far above anything I've personally seen, extremely impressed. There is only a single thing I can fault on this stand and that is that the quick release could be a bit bigger.

Works perfectly and looks awesome!
I wish I'd had this years ago when I used to do downhill mtb racing and had to service my bike every weekend. It's just SO easy to set up and use!Everything locks into place nice and tight, and there's barely any wobble when you're cranking a pedal to adjust your gears. I genuinely can't think of any downsides here!Above all else, let's be honest, the choice of colour is really cool! I wanted a folding stand so I could tuck it out of the way when not in use (which is really easy by the way), but my bike looks awesome on it, so I think it's just going to be where I store my bike from now on.

Well-Built and Practical Stand for Bike Enthusiasts👍
The media could not be loaded. This repair stand comes with a well-designed, double-sided instruction manual. The setup process is simple—only the tool tray requires assembly, and the stand is ready to use even without it🤘.The tool tray has a magnetic at the bottom, providing a convenient spot to keep small parts secure and organized, which prevents them from scattering or getting lost during repairs🧲.The stand is slightly bulky and has some weight😅, but this contributes to its stable base, ensuring it holds securely during maintenance. The clamp, used to hold the bike frame, requires manual adjustment via a screw axis to fit the bike snugly.Additionally, the joint connecting the clamp to the stand feels slightly weak and wobbly at times🤔, though this can likely be corrected with proper adjustments? The build quality is solid, and the materials used give the impression of durability. The height is adjustable, and the clamp can rotate 360°, making it versatile for various bike types and maintenance tasks.Though there are minor imperfections in the design, such as the slightly unstable joint, the overall quality makes it a reliable choice👍.This stand is highly recommended for personal use, whether you're a casual cyclist, or who enjoys bike maintenance at home😜.
