Great Economy Starter Set From Neewer
This is a great starter set to add to your existing telescope. Even though it’s at an entry-level price, I found the eyepieces to be superior to those that came as “pack-ins” with my mid-level Orion SkyQuest XT8 Plus reflector. Compared to other entry-level brands including Celticbird and Starboosa, Neewer rises to the top with brighter, clearer views and less optical astigmatism (star shaped lens flare) than the other brands. This set is no exception. Each of the eyepieces offers a crisp, bright view. Comparing directly with my Celticbird eyepiece set, their 12.5mm and 20mm eyepieces were only marginally less clear and bright than the equivalent Neewers, but the latter were still noticeably better. All of the eyepieces did display some optical astigmatism, which would be the main reason to step up to a higher price category. The Barlow lens was definitely superior to the Celticbird Barlow. The Barlow essentially doubles your eyepieces, giving this set the equivalent of 6 different magnifications. One very nice feature of the Barlow is that it uses a brass compression ring to secure your eyepieces, so you don’t have to worry about scratching the barrels. Also, with this set Neewer fixes the only issue I had with their 14-piece eyepiece and filter set: The lens covers now come off much more easily and don’t feel like they’re super-glued to the eyepiece! Note that construction of these eyepieces appears completely identical to that of the 14-piece eyepiece set. The only negative with this set is the filters, which are good but simply do not “start” and thread as smoothly as the Celticbird filters. While this isn’t a reason to switch sets, I will warn you to be VERY careful threading the filters on the eyepieces to avoid galling or damaging the screw threads. However, I’ll also note that for most amateur stargazers the only filter of this set that you will use on a regular basis is the “Lunar & Starglow” filter, which will help filter out bright moonlight and light pollution. Overall, this is a great entry-level set to complement your telescope, and at this price level the only reason not to buy this set would be to go for the Neewer 14 piece eyepiece and filter set instead. Recommended.

Good Quality for Price
This is a very solid starter kit with some good quality eyepieces included. I also like the included carrying case. If I were to change anything, I would have preferred a sun filter to be included over the multiple color-change filters, but that's just me, and I know it would likely drive the price up. All in all, a nice addition to my telescope gear.

Very nice quality.
I have a few cheaper telescopes that came with some eyepieces of...shall we say, questionable quality. Plastic. Loads of chromatic and spherical aberration. Otherwise junk. These are worlds beyond the eyepieces that came with my scopes. They're built like...well, built like it's 1960 again, with real metal and real glass. It comes with a filter set, R, G, B, and a lunar / starglow filter. The latter of which you will find the most useful, I think. It also comes with a 2x Barlow, which, once again is better than the junky 3x Barlow that my other scopes came with. I much prefer a 2x to a 3x anyway, most scopes can't make use of a 3x. It comes with a VERY nice case which comes with a...well, a strap of sorts. I like the case, it's very nice, but it didn't really need a "carry strap". A simple handle would have been plenty here, I won't be hauling my eyepieces on the Appalachian trail. It's nice that they included it, but the case is really all that we need for these, a strap just wasn't necessary. What ever scope you're looking to peek through, these are rock solid offerings from Neewer. And I have to admit, this isn't the type of product Neewer usually puts out. I have a LOT of their lights and stands and all manner of light modifiers for photography and video. But this is the first kind of product like this that I've seen from them, and I have to say, I like what they did here. Neewer puts out some nice products at very competitive prices, and these eyepieces are no different. I would dare even say that these eyepieces are one of the better quality products I've seen from them. I very much recommend these for a good "starter set" of eyepieces for their telescope. You will be hard pressed to find a better product for less money.

Big boost to my current lenses
I have loved astronomy since I was a kid and has an old Tasco many years ago. A few years ago I received a Celestron scope as a gift and was happy to do some basic stargazing again (it even had an equatorial mount!). This scope came with 4mm and 20mm lenses, plus a 3x Barlow. When I saw this NEEWER Astronomical Telescope Eyepiece Set, I thought I would give it a try. This sets adds 6mm and 12.5mm lenses and 2X Barlow to what I have, plus a new 20mm lens and some filters. When the set arrived and I compared it to my existing lenses, I got really excited. The quality is way above the basic set from Celestron. As a crude comparison, the Celestron 20mm weighs about 32 grams compared to the NEEWER's 20mm 72 grams! The housing appears to be steel rather than aluminum and it has a rubber grip and eyepiece. Plus the actual glass lens is larger in diameter. A much more quality piece in comparison. Ditto for the Barlow lens.I can't wait for a clear night to give these lenses a try, but this looks to be a great upgrade at a very good price.

Spot on
The media could not be loaded. A good value set of eyepieces and filters for any astronomical Telescope. The lenses are well made and have good quality optics and rubberised eye cups which don't feature on many of the eyepieces supplied. The filters make a difference when viewing planets or the moon. Very pleased with the product. Thank you

Good collection and fair quality
Once I tried to use on my reflector, it was pretty fine in terms of versatility and quality, going forward it seems they need more care than other brands. Only problem was the price that seems expensive than the original website especially the day I bought there was a 50% deal and I missed that since I have already bought one from Amazon.

Typical Neewer quality
Arriving in a nicely branded box and complete with a zip up carrying case, this set of astronomical telescope eyepiece lens and filters are manufactured of an aluminium casing and incorporate multi coated optical glass, the set includes 3 x Plössl eyepieces of 6mm,12.5mm and 20mm, 1 x double magnification Barlow lens, 1 x lunar and Starglow filter, and 3 x planetary colour filters in red, yellow and blue. The usual Neewer quality is evident here, with each lens being protected by a rubber or plastic end cap, along with a really great carrying case that includes protective indentations for each lens, there is also a carrying strap included should you require to transport the case out into the field. In practice these lenses perform well, providing a significant upgrade to those who like us did not wish to spend too much when purchasing our telescope, largely due to being unsure the device would get much use and hence opting for a cheaper alternative which features much inferior lenses than the ones provided here. This item has provided a new lease of life to a product that has been locked away for a significant period of time now, the moral of this story is.... Sometimes you get what you pay for!

Easy to use... good results
Nice lenses, they are medium range performance but that is what you are buying so no need to be surprised there. The lenses offer a vast improvement on my fairly cheap gear and the magnification is clear and powerful in comparison to none,I like the set although I did not like the colour filters... just a waste of time they are.
