I'm a female who is able to wear most men's shirts and have found them generally to be more durable, practical, and comfortable than the equivalent shirts made for women. This turtleneck was no exception. The "dark navy" color is exactly as described and the neck is very adjustable, not confining. The fit is somewhat "slim" - not sloppy or boxy - but not ridiculously slim. The men's size medium was well below my waist (I'm 5'6) but the fabric is light weight enough that I can wear it tucked in or as a tunic making it very versatile for my purposes. It is not at all see-through, at least in this dark navy color, but it is silky enough that it can be worn under other tops without adding bulk. I have machine washed it (cold, gentle cycle) and tumble dried it at low heat with no problems. If you leave it in the dryer, you will have some wrinkles, but taking it out and hanging it up right away avoids those.

This is a very good product. I am very skeptical when it comes to purchasing clothing online, can never seem to get the correct fit. However this product I fitted exactly how I wanted and the material feel soft and nice on the skin. I will definitely be purchasing a few more colorsto this shirt.
