- Shibori is the Japanese word for a variety of ways of embellishing textiles by manipulating fabric and securing it before dyeing. Rather than treating fabric as a two-dimensional surface, with shibori it is given a three-dimensional form by folding, crumpling, stitching, plaiting and twisting.
- Huddleson worked with a fabric mill in Japan to use the finest Japanese cotton which is then tied with thread before dyeing to create an exceptionally small-scale pattern of white circles against a backdrop of Indigo, Olive Green, Orange, Dusty Pink and Red. And because of the painstaking process of creating them, each piece has its own unique subtle irregularities.
- Machine washable, the exquisite fabric gets softer and more beautiful as you wash and use It - and are exceptionally low maintenance. These linens will be a favorite part of mealtimes for years to come.
- Size: 20"x20". Price is for one napkin.
