The snuffle mat keeps our yorkie occupied for a good while, as she hunts all through it for food morsels. There are plenty of places to hide food to keep her stimulated. It does take time to load up the mat. There is a nice non-skid backing to keep the mat from sliding away while she scavenges. It is smaller than I expected, but a good size for my 3.5 lb yorkie. I wish it had some different textures too, but it’s still pretty amazing just like it is.

This is such a fun activity. The mat is colorful with many hiding places. We have 4 dogs and the mat is still in perfect condition. It is extremely durable. I washed it in the washing machine with no issue. My dogs have enjoyed hours of fun with this product and they do snuffle when they are looking for the hidden treats.

The listing does accurately list its dimensions, it's just that the product image ended up being a little misleading to me about the size. It doesn't have "suction power", just grippy beads on the back (which is fine for ferrets; getting to go under it just makes it a better toy for them LOL).I have a ferret who absolutely loves exploration and her kibbles (despite an attempt to give her healthier raw options), so this has been perfect for her. She enjoys rooting around to find her food in the leaves and flowers.The construction seems okay, but I am measuring this for ferrets not dogs. The material was well cut and seems securely stitched. Colors were bright and the fabric felt clean on arrival. It is fleece, so it will take more work than a natural fiber (like cotton) to get oils out of it from my ferrets and their food. But the fact fleece won't fray makes it a good material choice for a snuffle mat like this.Although it's small for $22, if you think about how long it would take to cut and stitch all of these shapes - nevermind acquiring so many colors of fleece - the price is very fair.I recommend it.

My cat has been biting and scratching lately. This seems to help keep him occupied. It took a few days for him to adjust to eating from it.

Lots of nooks and crannies, my 12 y.o. doxie mix seems to love it. Some people don't like the size, and it is smaller one, but it works great for my gal. Took her ~20 minutes to get all the goodies out of it.

This mat is pretty small, smaller than I anticipated (despite looking at photos and checking measurements).Although it has a textured bottom, it doesn’t stay in one place when my pets interact with it; they can grab the whole corner and flip it with ease. It’s fun to use, but somewhat messy to deal with.
