The Quality, fit and finish are excellent. Well worth the cost for time saved fabricating something custom.Fits between 16 OC wood studs and the box is 3.5" deep making it easy to tuck into wall cavity.Using this with a 14X14 filter grille. The 1/2" mounting flange makes prep for sheet rock foolproof.The Local big box and local Pro warehouse had nothing like this available.

The amazing part was that local shops were going to take 2 to 4 weeks to get this out the door. Ordered it and had it 2 days later. Very well made. We sprayed ours with rubber under body coating for cars rather than install batts or something else. Will definitely order from these again.

Good quality box, but I had to work for over an hour to get flex duct on it .It was same diameter as flex duct.I have since used the flex on another fitting, apparently it was the flex that was not quite 14.Changed to 5 stars

As other reviewer indicated, it's thin sheet metal, I'm guessing it is 28 or 26 gauge. Typically at this size (14 x 14 x 14) you would expect to see 24 gauge. As of the purchase and review of this item the seller has not indicated the gauge in the description.

Used to add an air return to a back bedroom and it worked perfect. Dropped right in between ceiling trusses and the 10" duct attached as it should. PArt was well fabricated and didn't require any modification for use. The only thing I could have used is a little man to go in the attic and hook it all up for me!

I ordered this part to complete a hybrid whole house fan system using Panasonic exhaust fans. I did not want to put up withthe noise that conventional systems make. The plenum ceiling box was well made and priced right.
