Cheap and good.
It's cheap. It makes and receives phone calls. It has a basic calculator-style screen, and you can see most of the phone number you're dialling on it. I was talking to some guy from some other company for a while while a TV was on right next to me and I could hear him and he could hear me very well, so the sound it produces and receives is very clear. It's exactly what we needed at a price we could afford. If you want a basic landline phone this may be the one for you.

Great little phone for the money
I bought this with specific purpsose for work in mind but plans changed and it sat gathering dust for a few weeks on the shelf. It did however prove itself a few weeks later. My home phone system is cordless with multiple docking stations - wonderful technology that I thought far superior to any little 'plug in phone' I choose to run on metered elecetricity; around the time for its monthly topup it just stopped - dead - shut off everything - because I hadn't been paying attention and hadn't noticed the warning tone. No elcetric = No phone.I usally top up via phone/computer but i couldn't buy electric because i didn't HAVE electric !!! Cue smug smile from the little silver binatone phone - I plugged it directly into a wall socket, did what needed done and unplugged it and tucked it back on the shelf. It took up so little room. Yes this is a basic low budget phone but it is nicely designed and practical. Sound quality during the calls was good. I imagine it would work well wall mounted. This is a perfect phone for people who rely on wireless/docked systems - you never know for whatever reason you will lose electricity and it pays to have a backup.

Such a promising start...
As expected. Ring tone is a little shrill but works as a phone lol!! Easily fits in any small space or to the wall. Great buy for under £9Day Two: Perhaps I should have waited a little longer before writing a review, downgraded from 5 stars to 1star - This is because I was on the phone a lot today and by phone call 2 I couldn't hear the caller due to the excess hissing/static noise on the handset (caller side was not affected. Tried moving the phone different areas no difference, only thing that helped was wiggling the wire but this only stopped the hissing for a couple of second. Had to go to the shops and buy another phone.Such a promising start... Shame it all went pete tong!

But in all other respects it's a good telephone and excellent value
Further to my previous review, I've found an error in the instructions supplied with the 'phone in the section on storing numbers. As printed, the instructions don't work. I've used the procedure :1. Press 'Store'. 2. Enter the desired telephone number. 3. Press the desired memory location button. 4. Press the 'Store' button. This works! The manufacturer's version has the second 'Press Store' before 'Press the desired memory location' and this does NOT work! But in all other respects it's a good telephone and excellent value. I'd recommend it.

Would recommend.
I had a power cut and my usual phone didn't work without electricity. I wanted a phone that would work if this happened again. This phone was just what I wanted as it plugged straight into the phone line.
