HitachiC7SB3 15 Amp 7-1/4" Circular Saw 0-55° Bevel Capacity, Blower Function, & Aluminum Die Cast Base

I broke my previous saw and found this as a replacement. First Hitachi saw I have owned. Very sturdy base and plenty of power. Built pretty well. Cord holder works fairly well at keeping cord pulled to side while cutting.

I like the big flat base for the saw to ride on. I got it to ride on the sled of the Kreg Accu-Cut track using the Freud 7-1/4" x 60T Thin Kerf Ultimate Plywood & Melamine Blade (LU79R007). The first cut through the Accu-Cut track creates the saw line to follow. It rode smoothly and quietly through 3/4" birch plywood and created very clean chip free cuts when laid on 1" insulation board for support. I had to get used to the saw not having an off braking systems and waiting for the blade to come to a stop.For non-track use, I did find the blade indicator on the front of the base not to be very intuitive, since the marks indicate the width of the blade and the width of the inside blade indicator notch is rather wide to use for alignment. I will run a few more test cuts and mark it to get a more precise cut mark to use.

Bought to build a deck. Cut like it’s supposed to. A little on the heavy side, but what the hell if you can’t handle it, call a builder. Also, provided a sturdy carry bag. Very happy with my purchase.

I ordered this saw because it was advertised as a 'Hitachi' model prior to conversion to Metabo. I wanted it to go with other Hitachi tools I've collected.It was listed at a premium ($139) so I thought that was due to it being a legacy (true Hitachi). When the saw arrived it was a $79 Metabo, not a legacy Hitachi. When I started the return process, I was told I had to pay for return shipping since it was 'shipped' properly. When I called the seller's customer service, they issued me a pre-paid return. Refund took about 7 days.

I finally got a new saw after 20+ years of my SkillSaw "Classic". Wow, what a difference. Hitachi has excellent power and blade speed to power through cuts. Good balance and the die cast base is a must over a stamped steel base/shoe. The base works really well with a saw guide, either home made or purchased. Nice that the hex wrench is stowed with the saw too. I didnt think that the cord clip would be that valuable, but found it does work really nice especially when cutting large panels or plywood. It is so much better than my old skillsaw, I wish I had purchased it sooner!

The product is solid built. Its light weight than its predecessors, great manoeuvrability. I was a bit hesitant to buy the Hitachi (which is made in China) but this one i hope will keep my expectations. I received the blade which is 24T so that is great as well, and it comes with a nice solid bag.

You can’t beat this saw. Only used it a few times so far but it gets through, 2x4s, MDF, plywood and hardwoods like butter. As son as you feel the spin and the smoothness it cuts through boards you know it’s a top performer. Feels natural in you hand too. The blade provided is solid but I will upgrade to a Diablo when it wears out.

wao. no se como describirlo. me enanore de esta sierra. es muy potente promete mucho y cumple las espectativas. el material el peso las revoluciones el disco los cortes son perfectos a 90 y 45 me han dejado sin palabras mas ese poder de las 6000 rpm de hitachi. impreciinante. graxias por por el bulto es hermoso. esta sierra y el precio muy comodo. la recomiendo. a trabajar con hitachi.

es muy facil de usar y se siente potente al encender el motor, el corte es muy bueno y lo hace bastante rapido, el disco que incluye me parece de buena calidad, la bolsa esta muy practica cabe perfectamente la herramienta y otras cosas pequeñas el soplador es muy util y es muy facil hacer cortes en hojas de triplay , ya que en mi caso resto 13cm de la base de la sierra coloco mi regla y me da la medida exacta que necesito. algo que no me agrado es que no viene con guia y adaptador para colector de polvo , y a diferencia de un modelo anterior no trae estuche , pero trae la bolsa que esta muy bien en pocas palabras muy buena y mas veloz que otras sierras materiales de calidad.

Vale cada peso. Es en verdad, un sierra circular con buen grip en el mango, un peso que facilita el trabajo y gran velocidad de corte. Me animaré a comprar la guía latera, que será de gran ayuda. La base es rígida, de buena calidad, no se dobla. la maleta que incluye es práctica y permite agregar algunas otras herramientas. Estoy satisfecho. Apta para trabajos caseros y un poco más. Faltará ponerla a prueba un poco más a fondo.
