The media could not be loaded. I bought this back in November and have been using it for six months. I was surprised by how good the color was, hitting a high gamut in DCI-P3 at 144hz refresh. This is a big monitor but shockingly lightweight. It is excellent for those with poor eyes who do not want to use UI scaling. It has traveled with me a few times and even been used on a switch for an Extra Life charity stream this last weekend. The internal speakers are passable (monitor speakers are universally not the best).I have nothing but high praise for this monitor, and I would recommend it highly to those who want a large portable monitor. Just remember it needs a lot of juice. Bring a USB C charging brick (Minimum 15W) and a USB C to C cable when you pack it.

I often need to present to clients, and my small laptop screen was giving me a headache.This has been just what I needed. I've been really impressed by the quality of this monitor. The images are clean and crisp, and while I wasn't sure that I needed a 2K resolution, I've fallen in love with it. It makes it so much easier to work for hours on end. Images just jump off the screen, and there is zero lag between the monitor and my computer. I'd highly recommend this to anyone considering purchasing a portable monitor. Trust me, you don't realize how nice 2K is until you've used it.Besides that, It sets up easily, and the controls are simple and easy to use.This monitor is also fairly rugged. I've traveled thousands of miles with it already, and it has held up well on every trip.

It's a cheap metal box with a screen. It's not sleek and modern as they show it in the images. It does not have buttons like its shown. It has a knob with a sharp tip that will stab into your finger while you try to turn it on or futz with their menu.It broke after less than a year of sitting on a vesa mount being used 1-2 times a week. flickers on and off rapidly when connected to a PC.I double checked to make sure it wasn't the cords. I bought replacements for both the power cords I were using, AND the mini hdmi cord. Wasn't either of them causing the issue.This thing is garbage. Good luck replacing it too, this company doesn't have a website you can access to get it replaced. I'm not even sure they're a real company off of amazon because the only "Newsoul" i can find through google are a consulting companies for IT, Energy, and Philanthropy respectively.Don't buy this garbage. Don't buy from this company.

This external monitor is so convenient! So easy to set up. I just need to plug and play. If you use type-c connection, you don’t even need connect the monitor to use the power cord. Once you connect the usb-c, the external screen show up automatically. No set up needed! If you use hdmi connection, then you’ll need to connect the monitor to power outlet. This external monitor has great and clear volume! Much better than my laptop speaker. I love the 18 inch size. It big enough for comfortable viewing, and I can put it inside my bag for commute and travel. It very stable, didn’t flicker at all.

This monitor doesn't have a power button, which makes it basically unusable for anything other than a portable workstation that you completely disassemble after every use. If you leave it plugged in the monitor will stay powered on with a bright blue background and absolutely no way to turn it off other than unplugging it.I wanted to use it as just a small secondary monitor for my main PC setup but when I turn my PC off, the monitor just stays on with full brightness blue forever until I unplug the monitor. There is no other way around this, the control dial cannot turn off the monitor and there is no power button.The picture is pretty good for the money, but I can't recommend this product with such a glaring design oversight. Very disappointing product that doesn't seem to have any design forethought put into it, just enough effort so that it technically works.

Love this monitor! The price was right and i can confirm it does get up to 2k resolution and runs at 144hz. I use this as a travel gaming monitor and it does not dissapoint! My only issue is that there is no actual power button so when you plug it in it turns on and you have to unplug the chord from the side of the monitor to turn it off or just wait for it to go to sleep after your laptop or console powers off.

This portable model works well. I use it as a portable TV hooked up to my phone. You will go through plenty of cables. So far I've went through 3 different cables in 6 months. So I suggest to stock up.

Newsoul 18 inch 2k 144Hz is a unique portable monitor. 2K can fit a lot of content on screen, and the 18 inch large size is comfortable for the eyes. The picture quality is no par with a standalone monitor. The on screen brightness and contrast controls are quite simple to adjust. Power can be directly provided from macbook via a usb-c cable. I carry the monitor together with macbook in a backpack and don't feel much added weights. Very happy with the purchase for the increased productivity when a regular monitor is not readily available.
