Quick delivery but much smaller pad than I had expected

Not fit for stamping on brown paper
I bought this white stamp pad to create my own wrapping paper with stamps however this barely makes a mark on the brown Kraft paper so it’s not fit for my purpose. I own many stamps of this brand and found them to be great so not sure what went wrong with this white colour

Too translucent
Maybe the ink pad is dry? But I tried several times and applied as much ink as possible on the silicone stamps but it barely showed up on darker coloured cardstock. So disappointed. I’ll look for a refill I guess and try that.
