EZ Lock, Model TL-50, Coupler Lock

It was very nicely constructed, had to cut a 1/4 inch off the ears to fit my Big Tex coupler

The locking assembly is solid and well made but is a little loose on a Bulldog Tongue. It works if you twist it slightly. Otherwise I am completely satisfied with it.

It works. It is a little loose but technically works like it is supposed to. But it is aluminum. With a standard hammer, I could break it off of my gooseneck very easily.It would be 5 stars if it was steel.

So far it looks fine and is light weight. Finish isn’t great. The weirdest thing is this is advertised as a lock but It doesn’t include anything that locks. You have to purchase a padlock separately to use with this gooseneck coupler clamp. Seems like false advertising

7 month update: after 6-7 months I have come to really like this lock. So much so that when my teenager left it laying on the ground at a fairgrounds, I …nay, he bought another oneI put this on a 4 star aluminum livestock trailer. We travel to a lot of livestock shows and rodeos.Usually there are a lot of trailers left sitting around until it’s over. My goal was to make mine harder to take than the next one in hopes that the thief would take the trailer of least resistance. I think it will do well in that capacity. It’s not going to stop a dedicated thief but it will give me a little confidence.I would not buy this if I made my living with my trailer or it’s contents. Seems like a little work and it would come right off. It’s pictured without a lock for a demonstration of fit
