X Rocker X

My son is 6 foot tall, 190 pds, and lets just say is rough on furniture, and loves his games. He has had this since Xmas, so for about 7 months now. It has held up, nothing has broken, and right now as I type this in there raging about wrecking some car or something in The Crew.He loves it, but hes young so he doesn't notice how crappy the padding in the chair is, I've sat in it, and it's not anything I would want to sit in, but for kids, they won't notice too much.The sound is really good, especially with the crappy speakers that are in TV's today.So far he loves it, so far no breaks and it gets used every day without fail for hours a day.Pros: Price, sound quality, durability and comfort (for not 43 year old butts and backs)Cons: Sound quality (because I have to constantly tell him to turn it down) and comfort (for old bodies)

Was looking for an inexpensive gaming chair and I think this fit the bill nicely. For the price, looks, and features you can't go wrong. It comes partially assembled and has all necessary tools to put it together.The fabric covering the chair is decent, not great, and the seat and back cushion is relatively comfy. Comfy enough. If you play for longer than 2 hours you may start to feel the internal structure (wood beam?) of the back rest on your back. The arm rests are nice and can be pushed back when not in use. I did not like the fabric on the arm rests, they are kind of rough, and the padding is not that soft. My wife helped me modify the arm rests to be softer and more comfortable. The height and the fact that this chair can spin and rock back and forth were the main selling points for me.I ended up getting two memory foam pillows to 'enhance' the comfort of this chair. One for the back and seat. Good to go!I have not tried the built in speaker, and I don't intend to use it so I can't comment on that feature.I appreciate that X Rocker caters to gamers and can release a generously priced chair with great features. They have many chairs available in different configurations and price ranges but I think this should be the go to chair if you are new to the market.

I was looking for a low profile chair and decided on this one. I am very pleased with how comfortable and how well built it is. It rocks, and swivels and there is tension adjustment for the rocking. I am 194 pounds, 6 feet and I fit very well. I did not buy it for the electronics, so I have not tried that part out yet, but it comes with different connection cords and a power adapter. It was also well packaged and easy to put together. For the $109 Amazon price you can't go wrong!Update 1/2/2014 - I tried the audio out by plugging in my Nintendo DS and it works very well! My son tried it also and the first words he said was 'This is cool!"

Had my X Rocker for almost a month now. It arrived on time and well packaged. Not much assembly required.The chair doesn't have much padding. It gets uncomfortable for me after a couple hours. Looks nice. Already wondering how durable it will be. I'm 6ft, 170 lbs. And I don't "flop" when sitting down. But the chair is already popping and creaking a bit. Also not happy with the arm rests. They are 2.5" wide at the front, taper to 1.5" wide at the back, and aren't well padded. However, I like to swing them up out of the way and use the chair while playing guitar.The audio is better than expected. As soon as the chair was assembled and hooked up, I put a racing game in my console. I was enjoying the engine sounds as my car roared along the track. Then I crashed! Nearly had a heart attack!! The thump in my back and booming bass vibrated my innards! Not complaining though. Just wasn't expecting that. It's great for watching tv & movies too. And I keep my portable cd player hooked up, and sitting on the base.I take care of my stuff. But am already having concerns about how long the chair will hold up / work.So far, so good.

One star for looking cool and sounding great. nothing else, but let me explain. This chair arrived missing a part. I ordered the missing part from ebay.com for $25 more. I assumed that it would be soft and comfortable. I was wrong. It was hard and stiff. The part of the chair where your thighs would rest has a piece of wood running across it that hurt like hell. I used a foam padding to ease the pain but it only worked for a short while. This chair is horrible. If you enjoy self-flagellation, painful crucifixion or setting yourself on fire, I suggest doing those things instead. Honestly, this is the worst chair in existence. It is a reject design straight out of hell. Satan thought it was too mean for the damned souls so he shipped it back here. Now I have it. My neighbour suggested that we perform an exorcism because the voodoo club was afraid to come near it. my dog cant bark anymore after two days of this chairs presence. The hood rats are walking backwards. the solenoids wont work anymore. If you still want to purchase this chair, you should make yourself a tin-foil-hat first, it may keep you safe for a bit. But for God sake's, whatever you do, do not feed this monster or get it wet, it will arrive incomplete and numb you arse. You have been warned.

Best. Investment. Ever.My wife purchased this for me as a Christmas present. I had wanted a game chair, but didn't want to spend $300+ on one. This chair was a breeze to put together, and has held up well since getting it in December. It's very comfortable to sit in, and I have no problem gaming out for hours in it.I wish they made a version that had a foot rest included, but the tv stand works just as well.The audio is spectacular. I was kind of iffy about how the sound would be, but it could honestly blow you away, and the bass is nothing no mess around with, My wife is constantly yelling at me to turn it down.For those who were worried about whether or not it was compatible with the PS4, it is, and it works great, no issues.

The chair is great. I very much enjoy it. My only issue is that I was missing one of the 10.5x16 flat washers. I don't blame anyone. It must've fell out of the package. I didn't think it'd make a big difference, but the stress actually damages the plastic on the arms of the chairs without them. I kept one in and the other was loose this whole time. I tried to find a replacement, but 10.5x16 is a pretty odd size. I've also been unsuccessful in my attempts to contact the seller because my "contact seller" button is absent in my order list. I am hoping they see this so I can get my missing flat washer. Edit: it has been 3 years now. Still no washer.

This is a Christmas gulf for my 10 year old and it didn’t come with all the pieces and it’s the piece that keeps the base to the chair the important piece as it’s a Christmas gift I’m. Trying to get someone to help send me the piece I’m missing
