Versatile
Sandbox is for my grandson for his 1 st birthday. Me and 2 sons and we put together in 2 hrs. the way the piece with cover and on wheels made this perfect. Sturdy and pics show the size.

We thought this sandbox would be bigger but my 2 little girls really like it and they use the house part as a stage !It's their favorite outside activities

A lot smaller than advertised.
The product is far smaller than the description. When I bought it there was a different picture showing the interior of the box being 44X 44 inches, once we started putting it together it was much smaller. It's 3 feet by 3 feet including the outer seats. Not big enough for a 1 year old to sit in.

Good size for a small yard
The media could not be loaded. My kids like to play with kinetic sand and regular sand toys, but we do not like having that inside the house due to the mess. To compromise, we got this sandbox to leave outside so they can play with messy toys.Our yard is on the smaller side so we do not want anything big. This sandbox was the perfect size since it’s about 3.5 ft x 3.5 ft. It does not take up a lot of space, but is enough for two kids to play together comfortably. When they are not playing in the box, it can be pushed back in to save space. This was the it factor for us since we can make it more compact when not in use. Not to mention, the cover on top keeps em from burning up under the California sun on hot days.The assembly for this sandbox took about 45 minutes or so. It was not too complicated, but setting it up out in the heat does get a bit tiring and can slow you down. Once it is set up, it stands sturdy and ready for the kids to play. I’m not sure if this sandbox is weather proof, but I would highly recommend getting a clear sealer and put a coat or two on it to keep the wood lasting longer.Overall, it’s a cute little sandbox and play area for our young kids. They enjoy the outdoor time and it keeps them cool. You don’t have to fill it up with sand as it can be used for multiple purposes. Recommend it for young kids.
