works a treat
The bracket is made of metal and has a solid construction. It is also very lightweight, so it won't add any unnecessary weight to your camera rig. The bracket has a cold shoe mount on one end and a 1/4"-20 screw mount on the other end. This makes it compatible with a wide range of flashes and camera accessories. The bracket also has a number of features that make it ideal for use with off-camera flash. First, the bracket has a pistol handle grip, which makes it easy to hold and move the flash around. Second, the bracket has a quick setup/lock mechanism, which allows you to quickly and easily mount and dismount your flash from the bracket. Third, the bracket has a 360° swivel and 90° tilt, which gives you a lot of flexibility in positioning your flash.

Very Solidly Built Flash Bracket
With the much improved functionality and power of modern speed-lights they have become a highly portable lighting solution. This NEEWER Cold Shoe Flash Bracket Mount with Pistol Handle Grip is in my opinion a fantastic bracket for enabling a speed-light to be mounted onto a standard lighting stand. To attach to a stand the user simply slackens off the lever at the bottom of the bracket, place it onto a stand and then tighten the retaining lever. A Speedlight or other piece of lighting equipment can then be attached to the cold shoe mount on top of the pistol grip. It is suppled with a 1/4 threaded cold shoe fitting which can be screwed into things like LED panels, Field Monitors and more. These can then be easily mounted onto the bracket.I have been using this bracket in my photo studio with a flash which I would usually mount on my camera and then triggering it remotely. The bracket also has an aperture which will securely hold an umbrella stem which I personally find extremely useful as it really does provide a lot of creative options when shooting with a flash.Altering the angle of a flash when using this bracket is very easy. The user simply depresses the trigger and the upper part of the bracket can then be angled as required and once the trigger is released it locks at that angle. The mechanism which makes this possible has small ratchet like ridges across its surface providing many angle selections in small increments. This bracket is reasonably expensive which in my opinion is reflected by the excellent design and build quality. I am confident that it would be perfectly suitable for use in a busy professional photography studio. Like a good number of other NEEWER products I have previously used this Flash Bracket Mount is in my opinion very useful and certainly built to last.

Seamless lighting control
Handling off-camera flash with this mount is a redefined experience. The secure locking mechanism and the comfortable, silicone-padded grip add to the user-friendly experience, allowing precise positioning and a stable connection. The 360° swivel and 90° tilt feature mean that I can adjust the flash angle swiftly, locking it securely in a flash. It’s a solid, well-built piece of equipment, making the lighting control seamless and intuitive.

Very well made adjustable flash mounting bracket, works really well with my flash gun
A few weeks ago I tested a flash gun from Neewer which I thought was a very good third-party product, and earlier in the year tested their carbon fibre light stand, and now I’ve teemed them up with an adjustable flash bracket mount also from Neewer. And they all work really well together. The mount slides over a universal light stand adapter, and has a cold-shoe on the top for the flash gun to secure to. The bracket has a wonderful pistol-grip design that operates a very smooth gear driven action that allows you to precisely adjust your flash gun, or other cold-shoe mounted accessories, to your requirements. The build quality of the entire product is to a high standard, something that has become reassuringly common with the many Neewer products I’ve tested over the last few years. Rarely have they supplied a poor product, and this continues the trend. It’s an impressive mount and I’m very happy with it.

This does what it’s supposed to do - and looks stylish as well!
This is a wonderfully designed and engineered cold shoe flash bracket has been well thought out. The actual device feels very solid and robust. It has a pistol handle grip, very similar to a tripod head (different manufacturer) I have that operates on the same principle: squeeze to release, adjust to the angle required then let go and it locks in place with the action being silky smooth. There are two large Allen screws fitted so you could adjust the flow of movement as required to ‘person taste’ if need be. The idea is basically you use this method of quick adjustment rather than twiddling knobs. It has a standard removeable 1/4" screw threaded shoe supplied in the ‘dead shoe’ that can be released/unlocked by a knurled screw on the side - see photos. The base fits any standard size lighting stand. There is a standard size hole for a brolly to be inserted, with semi spring clip inside to hold it. All the moving parts are finished in a sort of satin-look aluminium and make it looks very stylish but don’t be fooled - this is one well made and thought-out handy device that does the job. I can’t think of any niggles as it does what it’s supposed to do - and looks stylish as well!

Sturdy and versatile
Holding this mount feels like wielding Excalibur, but for photographers. The grip is well-designed, making it comfortable during extended use. I tried multiple angles and the adjustments were smooth and locked securely into place. Plus, it holds heavier gear with no sagging or drooping, providing confidence during a shoot.

Better than MagMod
Saw this and thought “hmmm, looks like a copy of MagMod’s magshoe. Same price…”These were on sale for half off so I gave it a try and I just got it. Gotta say, the build quality is incredible. This thing feels like a tank. Magshoe is much lighter but also can feel cheap. So it’s a trade off of weight versus build quality. I’ve had a few Magshoes break over the years. But this thing? It’s like Nokia cellphone THICC. Lightsaber hilt THICCCCC. I’m going to be very surprised if this breaks.Only nitpick is that the Magshoe had the option to tighten the umbrella slot. Thi’s does not although there is a bit of metal in the slot for resistance to hold the umbrella rod in place.Overall a very solid design.

Better than MagMod!
Unlike other manufacturers, the large (silver) locking lever on the handle is solid and easy to use. The all-metal construction is a benefit over the plastic ones weighing just under 14 ounces. I can now mount this on my GODOX AD300 light units with a softbox and adjust it all with one hand. Beautifully made and very sturdy!

Super easy to quickly adjust the flash head angle
If you do onsite work with remote flashes, this is great for adjusting the angle of your strobes quickly. It also works well to handhold larger strobe units.

Not ready for primetime
There is a roll pin that holds the trigger. It doesn't. Makes the unit unserviceable.
