i really, really, really wanted to like/love this! so excited to find stainless steel with sealed compartments...so excited. i read reviews saying the handles broke easily but didn't care. i figured mine wouldn't break because i really wanted this. my three year old broke the first handle off within two weeks of having it but i decided it was because she was three and wasn't being gentle (even though i was watching her and she just went to close it). the second handle broke off two weeks after that. i literally was just going to close it and it snapped. super disappointed. guess you get what you pay for. the snap lid handles do break like many reviewers have already stated. cheap enough that i'm not heartbroken over the loss of money, but expensive enough to not buy this product again.

Got this bento box mainly because the compartments where the food is are made of metal and it is completely leakproof. I try to stay away from plastic, and glass is too heavy to carry, so when I saw this lunch box with the metal compartments I just loved it! (For those who like plastic, you have the option of putting the food in the underneath plastic compartments and even use it in the microwave.) I use it to bring my lunch to work or when we go on a day trip so we can make homemade snacks. The different compartments allow me to carry different types of foods without having to mix them. It is also super easy to clean. I almost forgot to mention the insulated bag. It has a pretty design and it doesn’t even look like the typical lunch bag. I love every part of it!

This lunch box has a lot going for it and I really wanted to like it. I like the stainless steel. I love that the compartments seal individually. Being able to see the lunch through the clear top was surprisingly satisfying. Days 1 and 2 of sending this lunch to school went great. On day 3 one of the locking clips broke off. Majorly disappointing but it still sealed with the other 3 so I sent it again today on day 4. Today it came back with another broken latch rendering it useless. Now that I'm disappointed I will also say that it takes up a lot of room for the amount of usable space. We could easily over look that had it been better quality. I will have to keep looking for something to replace our Planetboxes with. The Planetboxes don't hold enough, are too expensive, and don't seal, but their quality is fantastic. My kids have been using them for 9, 7, and 5 years with no issue.

NOT FOR HOT LUNCH! My wife bought 4 of this lunchboxes for our kids and today is the 2nd day using them. The first day, the temperature was not maintained without the hot water they say you should pour in. This is how today my wife tried pouring hot water and it spilled all over the lunchbox, the insulated bag and all over the kid's backpacks. Really awful, so if you are looking for a container that keeps things warm, do not buy this one. Also, it is very hard for kids to open them.

I wanted to love this thing, its clean and nice, the stainless steel is clean and a nice feature, but theres a lot wrong with it. the seals inside like to fall out of their channels easily anytime the lid came off, but maybe that would get better with time since I only used this thing twice before the latch broke. another reviewer said it wasn't long after that another one broke, rendering it useless. I am returning mine, i would not buy this again without a redesign.

I love this stainless steel lunch box! It is just perfect for taking my daily meals to the office. I am buying another one for my daughter, so she can take healthy, homemade lunch to the school. The bag that comes with it's insulated, so it's just great for keeping hot meals. In any case, I love the fact that I can use the plastic lunch box in the microwave, that's a huge advantage! Very good materials, nice design... What can I say? 100% recommended!!

This looks good offhand, but it is impossible to close. After using it just a couple times, one of the handles broke as I was trying to close it. I could still use it with the three good handles, but then I broke another handle while trying to close it. I can no longer use the product. I have requested my money back, and I hope that they give it back to me

I had high hopes for this lunch box when I bought it but unfortunately it was unable to keep food warm and the lid is extremely hard to close because the gasket is too thick, it helps to prevent leakage but too hard for young kids to close.
